ur post

I'm actually not reading anything. any recommendations? Haven't read in forever but I used to do it a lot

Titus Livius -- The war with Hannibal

I have loads of stuff to recommend, depends on what you like. First thing that comes to my mind (for some reason) is Kurt Vonnegut, really enjoyed most of his works.

I'm open to most things as long as it can keep my attention. So I guess something that avoids rambling.

Market Wizards. It's pretty good.

just finished Jane Eyre. good read

Well, let me think. If we are putting all the slow-pace stuff aside. I found Thornton Wilder quite an interesting read. Julio Cortazar was also pretty good, but a lot more diverse.

Never got to reading that. Is it worth giving a shot?

if you don't mind romance, sure

Don't like it too much. But I guess that's something one has to read at least once.

The Inferno, it’s seriously just a self-insert fanfiction

I kinda feel like almost any book by Dan Brown is a self-insert fiction to some extant

Dante Alighieri’s Inferno

Just finished the Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. Now reading Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace

Should have said Divine Comedy then. Wouldn't really call that a self-insert, but I guess I can't judge, only got through "Inferno" and that's it.

suck my balls

Is Ayn Rand really that good? It looks like people either hate or adore her.

this thread

The History of Video Games.

Very interesting for my interests.

Her works are very ideology-heavy, and the characters are less characters than they are archetypes and allegories, so if you don't mind that, give it a shot.

Post lapis lewds NOW

Seem familiar?

Might read American Gods when I get the time. Right now, I'm reading the books for my classes. Is The Sympathizer any good? I have to read that next, and if it's anything like the last thing I had to read I'll probably blow my brains out.

Do you have a pet duck?

Best girl that needs to come back

I feel she isn't coming back until the "last stand" against the homeworld arc. But who knows, the crew might have something totally diferent in mind.

I’ve been “reading” this on and off for a couple years now. My dad gave me his battered old copy of the book shortly after he moved out when I was in high school. It’s a great book, but I just can’t seem to get around to finishing it.
