I plan paintball larp's as a source of extra income. Usually I don't have much creative freedom. I have to stick to a theme that follows pop-culture(Star Wars, Marvel, Walking Dead etc.). I've found a field owner that is willing to let me present my own game scenario.

I've decided to set it in 2025 between 4-5 factions with the setting being a reconstruction period after a brief world war. As for the factions I have in mind I've figured it be good to keep them local to the area. A neo-marxist revolutionary group. A militarized police force. Civilian defense group. An ultrasurvivalist militia(Holnists). And maybe some sort of religious group like the Koreshians.

I guess I'm going to mirror some events in history but any input from others would be helpful.
