Since Bolsonaro legalized guns for anyone in my country today, im scared shitless, so im thinking about starting some martial art to learn to defend myself from someone with a gun.
What do y'all recommend me? I was thinking about Karate, since i vibe more with japanese culture, thro Kung Fu was created and mastered for wars and to be as deadly as possible, so it might work better for this, Which one should i learn?
Also, i know most people here are more into bodybuilding, but i don't wanna go to the gym, since i don't wanna get bulky and slow, im much more interessed in being fast and strong.

This is the biggest bait post I've ever seen. But since everyone on this site is a retard, this could be real. Do obviously karate and Kung Fu would be awful, since they have basically no specificity for this. A knife is the best bet against a gun close range, get a good one of those. Just drill drawing it, moving somehow, and then jabbing it into someone's neck deep or something. It sounds cringy but buy a wooden/rubber knife and one of those human punching bag dolls. Specificity is the name of the game here. Also take up sprinting to help you get in close, run away when needed. Taking up karate or Kung Fu will likely not help that much unless you find a good style with a great teacher and at least a few years of hard training. Even then it's still probably not as effective as you hope

OP, the kind of shitheels who would kill you for pocket change were able to get guns before. Legalizing civilian ownership of firearms doesn't really change this. Maybe more criminals will have access to weapons as a result, but I can't imagine it will be enough to vastly increase your likelihood of being shot.
