Of course not, it literally only weighs 20kg lmfao, why would you bother even listing something that light

does anyone actually use eleiko powerlifting bars? i'm sure they're good but never seen one in the wild.

Yes. Its 45 lbs. Its the same as a full plate.

Oh jesus, not this again...

So that last 20kg you just added to your bench doesnt count either, r-right?

if you just lift the plates, dont count the bar. if you actually lift the bar with the plates, count the bar. Seems about right.

lamo, not counting the weight fo your srms or body, also remember to ciount he ghegit of the buuilding, as the mass will be eh lower at high altititudes, like some countries like dutch sis very low and they lift more, in general graviteh is more there which isht he reason they are so tall pelople

>implying i bench
meme non-functional excercise

What about the holes in the plates? Do I count those as well?

also tsome the idndiand ssare ifferent counese they haver more meuntains shwihc causes them to lift eless weight which in turn make them wsmuch shoetrwre thn sthre dutch

yes you include the bar, idiot.

that bar does not weigh 45lb FYI

I have a 12.5 kilo, 5ft Olympic bar.

Is my 1 plate OHP the same as your 1 plate OHP?

If you took more than 2 seconds to answer, you should join planet fitness.

>20 kg = 45 lbs
>20 kg is not 45 lbs

Are you retarded

Hint: theres bars for different genders, and each set usually has half dozen different lengths.

My local gym uses eleiko barbells exclusively, although I don't know what makes a bar "good" or "bad"

They are sturdy as fuck, if that's what you mean

it's not 45lb.

It even says 20kg nigger

What does it weigh then you fucking genius ?

Of course I do. I use an Olympic bar. 44lb. Bet your ass I'm counting it.

ofcourse you count the bar

44lb

It's 45lbs

see this guy has it right

Based stroke poster

Lol no. That's why I use a 10kg women's bar. I can lift 10kg more that way.

Based basedboy

That's some good toothpaste tho

What about the weight of your hands and arms?
I mean a guy with thick and heavy hands and forearms lifts more than a scrawny guy.

Well done not addressing your ignorance.

You're not also counting the altitude. Weights at 5,000 ft will feel lighter than weights at sea level. So if a man benches 500lb at 5k his net is about 400lb sea level.

Except muscle strength is linear, so someone with heavier arms has inherently more muscle strength to lift said arms, meaning hypothetically everyone in the world could do the same amount of reps with zero pounds added

These fucks will say that your arms dont have any weight to them in order to be consistent with their faulty logic. By their logic a pullup would make you weigh 0lbs...

>he doesn’t count the 10,000 kg/m^2 of air pressure pushing on the bar
Never gonna make it

What if I do pull-ups in space?

No, because you get better at things the more you do them. Walking is a univeral exercise that anyone with legs can do. If we went from place the place by doing pull-ups, then it would be as easy as walking.

Are you even trying? What about the gravitational pull from the sun? It's sphere of influence greatly influences lifting.

address these nutz

>not using Lacalut
Never ever going to make it

>implying arms are always composed of 100% muscle with no fat.
Not even counting synthol injections.

I don't count weight, I count the amount of pl8s.

This fucking guy.

>Not even including gravitational waves? Have you even heard of String Theory?

Attached: 1547267328257.jpg (550x422, 35K)

What is gravity?

Dafuq does that have to do with how much you weigh when you hang from a bar?

>the earths rotation counts as my cardio for the week

>Still believing in String Theory.
>Not caring that it's based off relativity and quantum theory for its basic structure
Did you graduate from community college or something?

I believe in the theory of yer mom gay

You're a fucking retard. What about electric and magnetic forces? Don't Coulomb’s and Ampere’s laws ring a bell? Try harder troll.

Whats the matter, can you only count up to how many fingers and toes you have?

When you pick up a bar it's not like picking up an empty gallon. Count the bar.

Nigga, it depends on the gravitational pulling of the place where I'm lifting. As you might know, LMAO1PL8 it's not the same in Tierra del Fuego as in Miami.

NOOOO!!!
In computer science you always count from 0.
In lifting you don't count the bar.
It's just the way it is and you shouldn't question it.
At this point it would take too much effort to undo everything and change all the literature.

That depends if you run with or against the rotation.

Only when talking to non-lifters, otherwise i just say how many plates

This whole thread is a huge fucking kek

not sure if troll or genuinely retarded

if latter; of course you count the bar, it is a part of the total weight that you are lifting

>Using a bar
Go Atlas Mode

Attached: Screenshot_20190116-133448.png (1080x1920, 99K)

the bar makes up for when they drill the hole through the middle of the plates so it evens out. you only count that stuff if you're lifting an empty barbell or holding a 45lb plate by itself

present them

>Implying he lifts for any functional purpose
>Implying he's a prole

Yeah and I count the clips too.

Apparently only black people don't count it

For every bar you don't count, I will count my bar twice.

>he counts the plates
read the fucking sticky, you might understand how retarded this sounds if you do

>This whole thread

The only weight that counts is that of your sins

Attached: confess.png (1229x1160, 58K)

>He counts the plates.
You're supposed to increase the weight of the bar as you progress.

Attached: emilia clarke laughing.gif (245x280, 1.3M)

Bar doesn't count.
Make sure to factor out the holes in the plates, if applicable
bumper plates are also lighter because the rubber coating is heavier than iron
And lastly, make sure to take time of year, distance from equator, elevation, and procession of the equinoxes into account.

Kek

user i think you bonce ronced your corsnew

Nah everyone knows gravity invalidates the first 45lbs of every lift. It's basically like you're lifting nothing.

So when someone turns up the gravity level in the gym, does the amount of weight you're actually lifting go down?

Attached: 1525693559535.gif (256x256, 410K)

Well I fucking lift it don't I?

What do we REALLY lift though?

Depends.
2pl8 is just the pl8s without the bar, so if i say i want to be able to lift 2pl8 it means putting 2pl8 on each side.
If i say i want to lift 100kg, i put 50kg in plates on each side and i only count those plates towards my 100kg goals, even if i lifted 120kg all in all.
If someone asks me, how much do you lift i just say X kg+plus bar for X reps.
