There is a limit to what you can do, but there are still a few things that can help you improve your metal performance
-get good sleep, go to bed before midnight
-go outside and eat healthy
-exercise including cardio, this has proven benefits to mental performance
-use your brain more, do maths problems, write, do something creative
-reduce your consumption of weed, alcohol etc
-try and get to a better state mentally to eliminate distractions
How do I get good at anything? I'm a woman and i'm absolutely retarded at anything I do. I have a short attention span and I can't cook or do anything of significance. I'm also retarded at understanding social cues which should be easier for a woman. I hate myself
I have a sculpting hobby but I don't know how that is going to be of any significant use for me
same here. i'm underperforming in everything i touch. it seems literally impossible to get good at anything if you're as retarded as me. you have to put twice as much time as everyone else into things. but then they become an obsession of sorts and your mind will have enough of it after a while. you'll despise and won't be able to do that thing and move to something new, then repeat the cycle.
read bordiga originally
this wont increase intelligence at all
it would just give you a healthier state of mind
when i scored 144 on my mensa test in high school i was fat as fuck and stayed up until 2 am every night and got about ~4 hours of sleep on average.
IQ can't really be increased through any form of activity but time seems to have a strong effect on it.
>I'm a woman
Sorry, nothing can be done
>how do I increase my IQ
LOL good one
Running 60 miles a week will develop a heart capable for operating at 30-40bpm at rest. This is the foundation for your brain.
Maintain your form with perfect nutrition, sleep and meditation. Only drink water, black coffee, and green tea. Don't eat anything unnatural. Put emphasis on eggs, fish, walnuts, blueberries and a variety of vegetables. Make sure you sleep at least 8 hours a night, waking up at the same time every day. You must meditate at least an hour a day.
To develop your mind, play dual n-back (get to 6 then up the interference to 37.25%, then once you get to 12 move on to triple n-back, once you get to 8 move on to quad n-back, then intersperse your play with relational n-back. Make sure to play for at least an hour a day, every day).
Most of all, deprive yourself of mindless leisure. If you're not meditating, exercising, sleeping or playing n-back then you must either be studying STEM or reading.
Follow this religiously for a year and you will gain at least 20 points.
If you have a short attention span then it might be worth getting yourself checked for ADD, and maybe get medication. Apart from that, try and play to your strengths, so if studying is not something you are very good at, try to learn something you do with your hands, learn a trade if college is not for you etc.
As far as learning something like cooking, it is all about consistency. Find yourself some recipes online, and cook all of your meals. If something does not go great, think about what went wrong and improve that the next time. Watch videos on techniques when cooking and try and learn. Even an idiot can get good at cooking with practice and a will to learn, it just takes time.
Social cues take some learning, but in my experience it is important to try and become lower inhibition as you go along learning about social skills. Just reacting to things in the moment, not overthinking it, really makes you improve your social skills more quickly and effectively. Again, it is all about being consistent and considering what went well and what did not. With social interaction it is also important to not stress about the outcome of any one interaction, as that can be influenced by so many factors including the other persons mood at the time.
idk but i've lost a considerable amount of IQ by being a hikki for the past decade.
Thats why I said it will increase your performance, not that it will raise your IQ. Might help a bit by minimising things that are detrimental to performance on an IQ test, but mostly it will make you achieve more irl, which is what matters far more anyways. And I would argue that as you get older, if you do not use your brain much you get slower and worse at thinking as well. Nothing permanent necessarily, but you need to actually use your mind to be at 100 percent
Unironically sounds like autism with the obsessions. As far as improvements go, try and keep the things you were obsessed with going even after that initial obsession fades. If you are really interested in a skill and learn it obsessively for half a year, keep putting a few hours a week into it afterwards as well, and it will add to your skills and personality.
You don't, I think I.Q has around 86% correlation to genetics in people finished puberty.
The mind need mindless leisure to keep functioning, noone can work all the time. Self improvement is important but needs to be done in a manner you can be consistent with, as anyplan you cannot keep up is next to worthless
Sculpting will increase your visual spatial IQ if you actual practice to improve as it will help you manipulate 3d objects in your mind. If you are already really good at that you probably have an above average visual spatial IQ and a weaker verbal one. It'd explain why you suck with people.
Fucking don't, trust me having high IQ just makes you depressed and increases risk of mental illness
There is a course online called Learning to Learn.
>sounds like a meme but it gives you a good idea on how to improve your memory and learning speed.
>its free as well
did you get that idea from house?
Why is everyone here obsessed with fucking IQ and IMDB tests? Just be smart and just mold your personality to whatever you like, stop basing your life off of scores on a test.
