Don’t project your unpleasant and unhappiness onto others. It’s rude.

You’re no better than a SJW keyboard warrior cynical and angry at everything for no reason.

Needs to be on the top.

>18. Knowledge grants power.
Concept of power is subjective

>25. The purpose of life is to survive and reproduce.
>26. There is no objective meaning to life, meaning is a human conception.
Either one or the other is true.

>31. Actions>Thoughts; Reality>Imagination.
Awareness>Reality>Mind>Ego>Thoughts\Imagination>Actions

>43. Permanent happiness is a fictional state of being.
Is a subjective take on reality.

>50. Believing in something that’s practical can be more logical than believing in something that’s true.
But perpetuates unhappiness and unsatisfaction.

>51. Friendship and family give life more meaning that philosophy ever could.
These things are not mutually exclusive.

10 grams of gold in the shape of a disc or a bar is still 10 grams of gold.

>59. Attractiveness is crucial in the social sphere.
Yes, if you count other than physical attributes to it. Also, extremely subjective.

Other than that, decent OP. Unfortunately many won't read it.

Jow Forums includes health you absolute retard

In telling him the truth

I'm sorry your life is this sad. Hope you find a way to feel better.

Redpill for you younger guys on here: As you age, your body is a whole lot less forgiving. The better you treat yourself and handle what you can, the less you'll care about stuff out of your control (e.g. balding).

By all means, in your 20's, go to all-night parties, drink and eat shitty food every once in a while.

But if you keep doing that into your 30's you'll see (negative) impacts real quick.

Develop the discipline and fortitude to be social without drinking excessively, and to go home early and get sleep. It will pay off handsomely.

haha that's almost what I actually did put for 63:

Thanks man

as a slight add-on to this every sunday I now no longer use my PC or phone unless someone calls me spending my sunday mostly watching tv isn't perfect but I have noticed I go into the next week a lot more relaxed planning on having a no technology day once a month and continuing with a no pc/phone day once a week

GOD DAMN IT I RELAPSED AND I'M WATCHING HENTAI AND MASTURBATING AGAIN.

put a rubber band around your wrist and everytime you think of jacking off to porn ping it against your inner wrist and if you ever actually load up porn just close it and jack off without

I'll try that then thanks. I was doing so well too, was at a month but got really horny.

. Men and women are not equal and never will be.
>10 grams of gold in the shape of a disc or a bar is still 10 grams of gold.

That only holds true if you are valuing humans on the sole makeup of their being.

No two humans on the planet are equal. There is only one person for every single hierarchy that is at the top. There is only one strongest human. One fastest human. One smartest human. One most creative human. One most attractive human. And there is one human for each at the bottom.

Some of these are subjective, some objective, but you will fall in the middle somewhere, and there is nobody that can be on the same level as you, only above or below, and therefore, nobody is equal.

This extends to groups as well. Men and women are not equal, as in general, men are better than women in every physical aspect. Women are in general better in emotional intelligence than men. But they are not equal.

So you cannot make the argument for sole properties of a human being to make them equal, as that is not the argument.

>That only holds true if you are valuing humans on the sole makeup of their being.

That is exactly what I would do. Speculating who is "better" is only good in limited and practical setting. I'd rather have a surgeon operating on me, than a plumber. I have nothing against plumbers but I think a surgeon would be better for that particular job. I would also highly prefer a skilled surgeon, as opposed to an unskilled one. I would not, however, hate any surgeon that is less than the best. I would not hate the worst surgeon. I would not consider their value as humans to be any less because if I did that, it would follow that I'd have to think of my value as being less than someone else.
Considering my own value to be less than that of someone else, would be harmful to me and self-harm in any form defies logic.

Everyone here always says to read, learn about the world, keep in good health, avoid drugs and cut out TV/games.

How do you have stuff in common with other people? Practically everyone I know has Netflix and drinking as their primary hobbies, listening to ghetto music and following celebrities in between keeping up with social media. How do you mesh?

Based and redpilled.
user never said that retard, he said when it does happen you will gain the key to the gateway of the true redpill.

The two are not mutually exclusive. Equality in the sense that OP is talking about is different from your idea of equality.

I know there are people who are better than me at many things, but I do not lament the fact that that is the case. I understand that not only are they better than me, but that if I so desired, I could close that gap, or even surpass it through effort.

This is obviously not true in all aspects though, but the fact is, how unequal things are has little to do with your basic value as a human being, but more to do with your value in specific hierarchical structures.

>Long list of platitudes

>cut out TV/games

Which would be a stupid thing to do. Yeah, don't spend all your free time looking at shows or gaming but either in moderation is fine.

As for books, I have friends who read. One in particular is a veritable librarian and lately he has been lending me a lot of books, which gives us one reason to meet up frequently and a topic to talk about.
My friends ( and I ) are all nerds though so that helps. Despite that, there are huge differences between us. In lifestyle, in values, in beliefs.

You don't need to be the same as your friends, and you shouldn't expect your friends to be the same as you.

I felt OP's comment was vague, which is why I didn't outright call it bullshit. I agree, no two people are equal in certain context.

>Needs to be on the top.
subjective

>Concept of power is subjective
>en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/power

>Either one or the other is true.
No because "meaning" and "purpose" are two different things, one implies an intent.

>Is a subjective take on reality.
Not really, moods are controlled by levels of neurotransmitters, there is always a balancing act. If you feel happy at some point you will feel sad at another.

>But perpetuates unhappiness and unsatisfaction.
An example to prove you're wrong: An unhealthy person exercises after hearing "exercise makes you feel good". It makes them feel worse but instead of choosing to believe what is true (that they felt bad) they choose to believe what is practical, that they WILL feel better despite the fact it may not be true.

>These things are not mutually exclusive.
Nobody said they were.

>10 grams of gold in the shape of a disc or a bar is still 10 grams of gold.
Op wasn't talking about gold. Human beings are more complex than that.

>Yes, if you count other than physical attributes to it.
I don't understand what you're trying to say, you're agreeing but it looks like you disagree.

>subjective
Reality comes after awareness, any opinion you form of reality comes after. This to me seems fundamental, therefor better place for it is on the top. However it's not terribly important.

>Power
Still subjective.

>Moods
You can reach contentedness, which OP correctly stated is the core of happiness. When a man on his deathbed says "I've led a happy life," he doesn't mean that it was devoid of sadness. You can even feel content in sadness, since you know that it is a natural, healthy and necessary.

>Exercise feels bad, therefor it's bad.
I'm a little confused by your argument since it seems to be backwards to me. The truth is that exercise is good for you, however if the person feeling bad would be overly practical, he'd stop exercising because it feels bad. If something makes you feel bad, you'll easily feel that it's impractical to continue doing it, even if facts disagree with you.

>Gold
Just because humans seem more complex doesn't mean that the value between them is any different.

>Attractiveness
I agree that being attractive is important in our society but I felt OP implied that this only means physical attractiveness.

I'm being nitpicky because I thought few of the points were oversimplified, and also because I hoped someone like you would come along and argue back, which would be entertaining for me. So unironically thank you.

Oh and on purpose of life ..

Purpose implies intent. True. Intent of whom? Op is free to it but shouldn't push it to others as an universal truth.

Congrats ! Never stop being your own center.

Now go experience love !

This is not fitness related, but it is Jow Forums related.

>How do you have stuff in common with other people?
People in general like me more when I am talking about stuff I do / like to do / plan to do than when we are talking about whatever TV show is going on.

I acquired my first GF.
Suddenly every other interaction with females looks like the most mundane task ever. I don't even want to fuck them all anymore.
I told her i think she will make me grow, and that this is what i like about our relationship. I think she understood what i meant.
I want to develop the intimate and emotional side of myself. I denied this shit too much.

Her friends tall her i'm physically a 9. But this is the first time in my life i feel comfortable being naked in front of someone. And i don't mean showing off my dick, i mean showing off my body. I've hated myself, no matter what, for decades.

Attached: ds9 stratrek.jpg (461x407, 43K)

Should I make up a story if somebody asks what I've been up to or should I just be honest and say I've wasted the last several years?

I did not waste if for any good reason mind you, I wasn't drafted, my health is good, I had no unfortunate life circumstance forcing me to sacrifice my time. And well, I didn't choose to waste my time in any "meaningful" way either, I didn't travel, I didn't have a bunch of fleeting encounters with friends, girls etc., drifting in and out of different social venues, I didn't live a life of reckless hedonism, I did not pursue any hobbies, projects, dreams. No, I simply chose not do anything, and I did so for a really, really long time.

depending on the situation, I guess.
If you are in for a job interview you better lie as much as possible about it.

But for everything else, why even bother lying? The decisions you did made you what you are today. And there is no 'objective' value in how you spend your time. Of cause it was not time spent meaningfull I guess, but probably you needed it on your way. And since you are now on the way of self improvement, that is all what matters

How's nofap going, user?

underrated post

All this feel-good work hard hungry hustle humble bullshit leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The truth is that fate does what it wants and you're along for the ride. Do what you feel you should do but don't kill yourself with strain for something that could be ripped away from you in an instant by some freak act of nature.

Focus on what's important: a good meal, a good lifting session, a good chat with someone who understands you. Everything else is extra.

Attached: nothing_you_do_matters.jpg (1516x1638, 210K)

Most people would never ask what you've been doing for the past 5 years so don't worry about it.

Right, but I am concerned with what happens beyond acquaintances. Then again, I guess anyone that would hold it against me would not be worth my time.

Bruh you gotta love yourself. There is only one you, and I think you deeply care about that person. Is there anything that you wouldn't do for yourself? Then fucking fix it, because you are your own best friend. It is great that your girl has made you feel love, and that you've come to the realization that women are also human - but don't forget that you too, are you human.
Girls come and go. As do friends. As do family. Sure, most of them are there for you most of the time - but the only person that is there for you all of the time is you.
