Foods that taste great, you don't get sick of, and have either:

I think the best cereal rec I have is to use low-fat almond milk or something instead of cow milk. It's all protein and you lower your calories significantly.

I have better luck with fage non-fat yogurt & vicki's granola (or fruit) though.

I've been making my own protein bars that have 190 calories and 21 grams of protein each. They're big enough that they fill me up in a pinch and are a fraction of the cost of store bought (not to mention a better ration of cals to protein).

almond milk is really on the threshold of being disgusting for me. I can drink it alright but it doesn't mix well (taste wise) with anything in my experience. I'd rather reduce my cals and stay with my milk by my side.

my mistake, i meant low carb. unsweeted almond milk has less than 1g carbs per serving.

I've made preserves before, and the reality is that preserves are loaded with corn syrup or cane sugar [mostly syrup really]. Smuckers sugar free jams are free of *added* sugar. It's sweetened with artifical sweetener, and it's quite good, although costly due to being a special production line.
here's my list;

>Drinks
black coffee, strong.
black tea
Clear American canned flavored water. I've given up soda months ago. 90's people might recall 'Canada Clear", this is the same product. Soda tastes like acidic syrup now.

>Sauces
Siracha. Fuck ketchup, go siracha.
Dijon mustard. Grey Poupon is just the trade name for Dijon, which is like horseradish sauce, but not oily.
Sugar free chocolate syrup. Try tasting a spoon of normal syrup - do it. It's bitter as fuck and tastes nothing like cocoa. Sugar free syrup is a better product.
>Sweets
Strawberry wheaties are amazing cookie stand-ins. Oreos are bitter, shitty things. It's 50calories a cookie, but 10 pr wheatie.

>Meals
Stir fry. Half an onion is 20 cal, a teaspoon of oil is 40cal, a jalapeno is 10 cal, a small zuchini is 40 cal, and cracked pepper. Fry them all quite hot, all together. Once the onion starts to brown, toss with onions sauce, take off the heat. Add hoison/sweet sour sauce. Fiber, minerals, all cheap as fuck. I don't add eggs, because the egg doesn't stand out here.
Oatmeal, not prepackaged shit. That's loaded with sugar. Plan cardboard tubed oatmeal with frozen berries and sweet and low.

I'm a lactard for simple dairy (pretty much just regular milk) but can eat cheese / yogurt. Yogurt generally does the trick for me and is better for me.

Sometimes, when I don't like something, I get really high, get in a good mood, listen to something fantastic, and eat/drink something else don't like. I keep it in my mouth and savor it for a long time. Get the entire experience. Do this once or twice and I swear you will develop a genuine enjoyment of said food.
I've done this with some fruit and veggies, as well as with almond milk. I much prefer it now.

Avacodas are basically calorie bombs. Their sole uses are food and biodiesel production due to being so loaded with oil. That's not a joke, avacado and specially bred bacteria are the two riches sources of non-petroleum oil for bio-fuel.

cool beans. I'm going to throw out cooking shit. Remember to keep some facts about weight loss;
- know your body fat percentage. You need 5% just to stay alive. Athletes have like 10-14%, and most normal people are 20-30%. Obesity is a massive health crisis.
- Know your BMR and your average TDEE. BMR is how much your burn in a coma and is pretty much constant. The more body you have, including fat tissue, the higher your BMR. Your TDEE flexes based on what you do in a day. Most people do not burn more than 300c a day with activity. You can't out work a bad diet.

There was a chili recipe on /x a while back. I tried it, and it was fucking amazing, but so calorie dense.

Limburger cheese. I tried it only one. The smell is faint, but it is the single best cheese I've ver taste in my life. Limburger, fuck yes.

there are lots of arguments on here about whether or not aspartame is bad for you, etc. I don't believe that it is, but I try to avoid soda generally speaking. I promise once you acquire the taste you'll stop drinking diet soda as often.

Fritos were kicked out once I realized all the did was satisfy a salt craving. I didn't want fritos, I just wanted salt. So I sprinkle celery with salt and garlic powder. That replaced my fritos, and funyuns.
All chips were replaced with popcorn sprinkled with parmesean cheese and garlic powder. The calories in popcorn are just in the in-bag oil, and don't really show in the popped product. It's really just fiber.
Sugar free candy is a thing. A bag of 20 Life savers is like $1.60, but cough drops are cheaper pr. hit, and I find them to be comfy.

And this is where shit gets weird; pro-ana. Pro-ana is essentially pro-anorexia. It's unhealthy and shit, but I found it to be useful. A small handful of tips, such as drinking water, snacking light then waiting 10 minutes, and getting mental health help really helped me to get better about my self image. I don't have an eating disorder, but some bits and peices were useful when tempered with medical science.

You seem to be insanely addicted to artificial sweetener. Its 1000x morr sweet per grain (aspartame) than sugar. Theys why you think junk food sugar sweets are "bitter" now. They are 1. Not sweet enough for you anymore 2. Not satisfying a craving for aspartame. If you got addicted to sugar again you would get 2 again though.

The biitter junk food sensation is only or a few items. After keeping away from junk food for a about 2 months, and using artifical sweetener sparingly, junk food and sweets have taken on a new experience. Like chocolate. It's sweet, but candy bars are just so fucking greasy now. Oreos are bitter biscuits, and the filling is gritty, yet, oily. The texture game changed. I was raised with junk food, so it wasn't bad outside of that limited frame of reference, but now, it's shit.
Like canned water. I stayed off coke for 3 months, and had a swig of one early in the morning. I hit the floor in pain. It stripped the lining of my throat and just burned like a bitch for 2 solid minutes.
Pro-ana was the nuclear option. I didn't get an ED, but I used the tips to limit and learn. It's been 26 days, and I've lost 13lb. Shit's managed, thanks for the concern.
