good post

what exercise is that

I only get DOMS in my hammies, brapper and calves.

President who has so little time he's gotta do his pull and push days simultaneously

Okay so what am I doing wrong?
I did:
10x10 flat db bench press 70kg
10x5 30° incline bench 60kg
10x5 45° incline bench 50kg
10x10 pec fly machine
100 dips

Next day I felt almost nothing and I trained until absolute failure through fatigue, full range of motion, proper reps.

Op is a newfag who has been lifting for 1 month. Ask me how i know this

You get doms after extended periods of not working out.
You should not get it past the first week

i can go to the gym for 3 hrs with my veins popping out of my forehead and i won't get any pain the next day. depends what your body is used to.

dont pull numbers out of your ass
there is no way you did 100 reps of 70 kg followed by 50 reps of 60 kg
wither you are strongman big or this took you like whole day in the gym

I have been going to the gym for 8 months now and have some sort of DOMS after pretty much every workout.

I only get doms in my pecs when i'm doind le decline bench but do it anyway instead of flat bench
Why

>You should not get it past the first week
>should
According to who?

If you are, then you were fucking around the last couple of months and finally got a good workout in

According to who?

If you get DOMS you're still a dyel, You should get very few after a year of lifting.

Its caused by damage to muscle fibre because the muscle is not accustomed to being stretched under that much weight. It quickly adapts to prevent this happening again.
Damage caused again, which is the point of working out, is nowhere near that first time so no DOMS
So either youre going to the gym and wading in the pool then suddenly do one property workout.
Or youre a bitch and any pain is DOMS to you

People are different, some people do get doms well after the first few workouts, has nothing to do with intensity.
People are just different dumdum
Also nutrition plays into it

Yeah I did the first 10x10 db bench 6hrs earlier than the rest of the workout because at work there's a pair of 35kg dbs and a bench. I pay for a proper gym membership and go after work which was when I did the rest of the workout.
Also wtf do you want me to do? Film my entire workout, cut up and compress into webm and spam the thread with video evidence? I asked a genuine question and tried to give accurate information.

>thinks that general symptoms can only appear of one single cause
oh boi it must be superaids then

>he adds the dumbbells together

I have been doing SL 5x5 for 6 weeks now
Onky got DOMS on the first workout, with empty bar

he's also middle of a lung so he's doing legs as well, inspiring

because any experienced lifter knows doms disappear after 2-3 weeks of serious lifting.

178 cm, 86kg
120kg bp
75kg ohp
140kg squats
190kg dl
Lifting for 4 years, 2 of which with a proper routine.
I get DOMS after every workout.

>pair of 35kg dbs
That’s a 35kg db bench, brainlet.
Just because you lift them at the same time doesn’t mean you add them together.

Look at it like this:
>curl 35kg db one arm at a time
>this a 35kg curl
>curl both 35kg dbs at once
>durr I curled 70kg durr

Been lifting for 3 years and sitting at 2.5/4/5.5 for 5 and still get doms
