Dumbbell rows are better anyway. Do them instead. You can do cable or machine rows of you wanna be a lazy fuck and sit down.

the only thing rows hit that chins don't is your spinal erectors, and you should be deadlifting anyway

You could also do cable or T-bar rows, most of your stabilization work should be done by the big 4 compounds anyway

I started to like them once I did them strict.

If you can do 3-5 sets of 8, you should start adding weight. I stuck with body weight until I could do 5 sets of 10, then added weight and could crack 5x5 with 10kg added with ease, so it's up to you, but I suppose the earlier you get to progressively overloading the better

I do them on day when i do squats and deadlifts. My legs, kill me.

You just need to learn and start it slow. Took me one year to get the hang of it and enjoy it. Absolutely fantastic.

Depends, I often go to the gym right after eating.
But seriously, just having clothes and shoes is kilos of weight.
Sweatpants instead of shorts? Weight.
Drank more water than usual during previous exercises? Weight.
Phone in pocket? Weight.
There is no real point in waiting to progress to 8 pull-ups to add weight and just adding weight and progressing to 5.
Pull-ups don’t progress like lifts, I know guys who have 10+ bw reps on me, but aren’t even close when weighted.

Reverse rows. Wear a backpack with plates on it.

I can't do them without curling my back, same with deads. I stopped doing them because I don't want to end up in snap city.

What I’m saying is that adding 1-2 kg shouldn’t really decrease your proper form reps at all
