Boomer dad is giving me a hard time for eating 2-3 eggs a day on my cut, telling me I’ll get heart disease. This is bullshit right?

I’m assuming it’s one of those things doctors tell their patients, like cutting out salt to reduce blood pressure, instead of telling them to lose 50 lbs which is undoubtedly worse than eggs or salt.

Eat all the eggs.

There are already 3-5 threads on eggs

this is the most tired topic ever. eggs are not gunna give you heart disease. and if they do, youre a genetic dead end anyways and you shouldn't even bother with lifting cause youre never gunna make it.

>2-3 eggs a day
Why even bother? I sometimes eat 12 a day

all the soda, mcd's, processed food and other shit you avoid but somehow 3 eggs will kill you.

lmaoing @ ur life i eat 6 a day

Even the FDA has removed all restrictions on dietary cholesterol. Avoid PUFAs, carbs, and too much Omega 6 and you'll be golden.

4-6*

Is 3-4 threads a day too many?

One is too many when you still spoutin bullshit in every single one.

>taking boomer advice seriously
Acknowledge that he only tries to help because he loves you, love him back and explain that his advice is wrong

what do doctors know, its not like they go to any doctor school or anything.

>Boomer user is giving me a hard time for starting eggs threads, telling me there are already 3-5 threads on eggs. This is bullshit right?

>This is bullshit right?
The evidence based guidelines and expert medical groups across the developed world consistently recommend against the consumption of dietary cholesterol (either completely or over a low amount).

Now your thread and this post will be jumped upon by ketards who will:
> Provide lower quality evidence (nearly every study funded by the egg board)
> State that dietary cholesterol is fine as long as you avoid the things that cause it to result in atherosclerosis (the main mechanism here being inflammation, which can be caused by dozens of things outside of your control).

Doctors don't learn nutrition. They only learn how to prescribe medication.

Was the study performed using generic eggs from American chicken that never touched the ground ?
Yes
Do happy chickens from small location farmer give me healthy eggs ?
Yes
American (((doctors))) and (((scientists)))are getting paid by activists

they do learn nutrition

t. med student

How many carbs should I eat, doc?

>Googling intensifies

Imaging being threaded by MD that's spent his student days shitposting on this board.
I don't think I can imagine a scarier scenario.

Having gone to bed school means little if they aren't coming straight out of it or have not adequately kept up with literature that has come out since they left their training (protip: the vast majority don't)

Scooby says to eat only eggwhites if you're cutting. Eggwhites are 0 fat, 30 cal for 7-10g of protein. As such you can eat like 10 or more a day with ease. You're gonna follow the natty king right?

the only known relevant nutrient in eggs with an negative impact on cardiovascular diseases is cholesterol

a chronically (more than 3 months) high cholesterol intake can increase the chance for arteriosclerosis, esp. when the blood fat levels (triglycerides) are elevated aswell

cholesterol is an important building block for our organism; in fact a human liver produces 1 - 2 g of cholesterol every day endogenously

if cholesterol is ingested via the diet, the production of endogen cholesterl can be reduced by the liver

one can assume therefore that only ingested amounts of cholesterol above 1 - 2 g / day can be seen as too high and therefore potentially impacting the health negatively

eggs contain 373 mg (0,373g) cholesterol/ 100g whole egg, one medium sized egg weighs approximately 50 g and containing therefore 0,187 g cholesterol

taking the more conservative value of 1 g endogenously produced cholesterol as reference would account for the same amount of cholesterol in approximately 5.3 eggs

therefore the dietary ingestion of 5 medium sized eggs / day could be regarded as save, considering no other cholesterol source would be ingested

I'm eating 4 everyday on a cut. You'll be fine.

So all those people who drastically reduced their inflammatory markers on keto/paleo/carnivore were just incredibly lucky with their timing?

you're right. we don't need doctors.

We need them to prescribe medication. Like Cialis. That stuff is great.

Eggs giving you heart disease is the biggest bullshit meme a group of doctors once said and it stuck. Doctors, especially doctors that rely on research gibs from the government of lobbies, will find any result or conclusion their employers wants them to find. Big Dairy and their Got Milk! campaign is a good example. Big Dairy paid a group of doctors to do a study to market milk as a heath drink, but what they failed to mention is most dairly products such as milk are full of fucking sugar. You can get calcium in god damn broccoli or spinach.

imagine believing this.
lmao.

For Dairy, I only get a bit of greek yogurt a day. The rest of my calcium comes from Spinach, brocolli, almond drink.
