never tried my 1 rep max because I am afraid of snapping something up

89 kg I benched 80 kg for 3 sets of 5 this week

>inb4 dyel

>85kg
>100kg incline

Dont know how this translates to a normal bench.

normally you can do more with flat. why don't you do flat user?

>inb4 dyel

Just keep up the good work and you will hit 2 plates in no time.

Stop being afraid. Just add weight untill you fail to lift it - you will notice its not so scary to fail a lift afterall. Same thing goes with squat.

Better feeling in my chest. Im thinking about adding a couple of flat bench sets after incline.

Im 84kg and pressed 145kg narrow grip yesterday, feels good. My max squat is 140kg though and I can't get it up for shit, my form is really good but I can't quite get the strength up?

I'm bad at bench and have bad shoulders and toothpick wrists.

I think he means you are bench pressing, you unrack the bar. You do the negative portion of the bench press, but you can't lift the bar off your chest. You look around and call somebody to help you.

Male, 5'10", 205 pounds

I started lifting a few months ago, what was a 135 1RM is now 175, I also lost 10 pounds

I look like I have a big chest. I just have a fat strong guy look so its kinda embarrassing to be in the gym pushing around 1 pl8 but what can you do

Is 700lbs good

stone and kg posters need to be executed

get fucked retard

86kg
137.5

When I was 100kg I could bench 100k, then I switched to dumbell press and do 42.5kg each arm for 5 reps

Anyone else just find dumbell so much harder?

Yes, barbell lets you lift more and therefore is normally preferred.

Non-whites aka Americans need to be executed

i don't ever 1rm bench but I do sets of 15 w/ 210 on the decline bench

Right now it hurts between my chest and my arm when I do Bench or dips or even Pullups so I'm taking a break. Help me bros how do I fix it?

This thread just reinforced the statement that this whole fucking board is full of dyel fags. Imagine being over 70 kilos heavy and unable to lift 100 on flat bench for at least 8 reps. Lgitimately repugnant.

>60.5kg body weight male
>120kg flat bench 5 rep
>heaviest lift 140kg decline bench for 3 reps
>47kg dumbbell chest press
>30kg dumbbell hammer curls

More than half this board would avoid even looking at me when walking past my bench. How does it feel like when an underweight manlet crushes your lifts

6'2" 235lb
295lbx8 and my chest still looks mediocre.
How much must a lanklet bench to have big pecs? Fucking manlets at my gym benching half as much look swole as fuck

Attached: 9c0.jpg (400x388, 19K)

Post body and proof of Bench and height you fucking 4 ft manlet

I call this bs. Post your body pic, user.

We might be twins, I'm also 6'2" 235lbs.
You need to do flys and pec deck A LOT.
You are good at pressing, so use that strength to put up a lot of weight in squeezing exercises.

I do dumbell press, I'm still pretty new, I've mostly been cutting for the last year and a bit, down 20 kg. Can bench 27.5KG each dumbell for roughly 3 full ROM reps (all the way to my nips level). How would that translate to bench press?

If I sit at 45 degrees on the pec deck and do one arm at a time for max contraction, is that better than sitting straight and doing both? Or is that just bro science?

Try working on chest accessories you mong
either that or your technique is fucking shit and you don't have solid muscle growth
or you just have body dysmorphia cuz those are big numbers

male
83kg
107.5kg x 5
then i drop down in weight usually after the 2nd set

I don't know.
I usually use leg drive to push me into the back pad as hard as possible and maintain an arch so I'm nearly replicating a barbell flat bench set up.
My shoulders need all of the the stability they can get since I've been grinding them into dust trying to flat bench 4pl8s.
I'm a huge fan of using one arm for the big ass ROM but I've never tried at a 45 angle since that kind of turns it into a decline fly.

Well I do complete reps, and I've fixed form to the point I don't get injured anymore, but I still feel flat bench is more of a trial of my triceps than my chest. Dumbbell presses are fucking fantastic. Never felt any pain and felt way more chest activation, but my gym only goes up to 100lb dumbells
