What I don't understand is why so many here dismiss it when it actually justifies and explains why most are the way they are

Part of suffering from delusions is that you're not aware it's a delusion. That's what makes it so hard to break through to them. In this case, the delusion is extremely harmful and stunting to their emotional growth, but also comforting since it provides excuses and external targets for venting their self loathing. The longer you've been in the delusion the harder it is to get out, because there are so many coping mechanisms in place to hold you in place, to make you hate change and maintain status quo even if you're miserable in status quo.

The problem is the difference between feminist theory, which is often pretty reasonable, and the real-world usage, where it's used as a "win this argument" button against any defense of any masculine virtue.

Same with mansplaining. There's a real and measurable phenomena where men are more likely to talk over women, but most of the time the term is thrown around, it's because there's an argument going on and someone wants a weapon to help them win it.

I noticed this myself with the "arguing against tone" idea. It's a valid concept at times, assuming that the person in question does have a legitimate reason to become frustrated enough or emotional enough to adopt that sort of tone, but most SJWs who bring up the argument just want a blank check to be complete assholes without being held accountable for it.
