Are men really fully grown at 18?

>be 18
>go to school with other 18 year olds
>realized when I turned 18 that I am considered an adult.
>Don't feel like an adult at all
>look at my classmates
>Are these kids supposed to be "men"?

Am I missing something obvious here? Literally no one in my class could pass as a "man". We're all still kids pretty much. In terms of behavior and appearance.

Do you guys know anything about whether men truly are fully developed at 18? (and yes, I know that the brain isn't fully developed until 25)

you are considered an adult LEGALLY, however that doesn't mean shit

you stop being a boy and become a man when you stop indulging in addiction and start working towards self improvement trough discipline.

for some people it happens early, for others it happens late (or never), but it's more of a mental transition then anything else

No.

bbc.com/news/newsbeat-47622059

Adulthood in this regard was decided legislatively by multiple economic, cultural and technological factors. I didn't stop physically growing until 26 IIRC. Genes play a factor individually, and race does broadly as well. Even puberty, blaqs reach sexual maturity faster, Caucasians and Asians later.
>inb4 r/K theory
Not necessarily what I mean, idk the total implications of these facts. But don't fret user, there may be some growing to do. I read in one report that men tend to add significant bone density in their late 20's/early 30's. It's complex.

and also:

I've noticed that guys 25+, especially guys in their 40s-50s have much thicker bones and just a much thicker, tougher apperance than us. Even if they don't lift. My dad is a good example.
>my dad
>50 years old
>MASSIVE 8 inch wrists (my estime but they're huge)
>Thick neck
>broad shoulders
>masculine "hard" face" with a strong brow ridge
>deep voice
>Fingers are thicker than my dick
>definitely has a masculine, strong presence
>looks kind of like pic related but older and with less mucle
>and he doesn't even fucking lift
I'm a total wimp compared to my dad lmao
I just never see guys my age with: 7,5+ inch wrists, good beards etc.

Attached: Neaderthal.jpg (600x800, 217K)

>>Fingers are thicker than my dick
None of us will ever truly have made it until we have dadfingers. Or grandpafingers, even better.

I agree with this. Discipline and self-control is an essential part of what makes a man masculine. But I was more refering to physical development. Bone growth, bodyhair growth etc

This seems to just be about mental development? I already know about that like I stated.

>I didn't stop physically growing until 26 IIRC.
oh, good. I hope that is the case for me.

>I read in one report that men tend to add significant bone density in their late 20's/early 30's.
have a link? I want this to be the case.

>Don't feel like an adult at all
You'll feel the same as when you're 70. You will look different and you'll feel the aches and pains of age, but internally it'll be the same.
Anyway historically even kids were considered adults because the bar for being an adult really isn't that high and terrible things will still happen regardless of your age (still true btw) so they expected them to grow up quick. Just don't act retarded all the damn time and take responsibility and bam, you're an adult. An actual good mother (those are basically extinct these days) could raise a kid to be more mature and responsible at 12 than the vast majority of older adults alive today.

One report for early 20's brahs: asbmr.org/about/pressreleases/detail.aspx?cid=a1e95d33-ea93-4c29-947b-28b692503fe4
Can't find that specific report but it looks like as you get into your 30's, if you aren't training bone loss starts.

It’s what 30+ years of labour does to you, true functional strength. I can deadlift 455, but my dads, who is a carpenter, still has stronger grip strength than me. Mirin his forearms all the time

Even that can't balance it out. Modern men working in construction don't have half their bodies. Get the redpill and realize vaccines are highly concentrated in anti-androgenic substances like Aluminium so babies don't even have the chance to ever develop normally. That plus growing up in an environment extremely polluted in microplastics up to the food chain, so even if old people eat the same food they didn't grow up eating it.

ive grown since i was 17, im 20 now, hopefully as long as i continue to train and live a good lifestyle ill get bigger. but yeah, some boomers are fucking huge. idk why but pretty much consistently the people i see with the biggest heads and hands are black or white boomers or GenXers. im convinced the jews are poisoning us

human beings are exhibiting signs of domestication. It's not to late to start freeing yourself, the sooner you start doing high test activities the better. go get fresh air, sunlight and exercise. I'll bet you'll crave some whole foods and water afterwards

I agree with this, but I mean more physically. For example: I wonder if My body will become thicker as i go through my 20s. I hate having stick-fingers. Especially when my dad has such thick meat-fingers.

Thank you! This looks great.

My dad hasn't worked in any physical job though. But even if we assume that manual labour gives you these benefits (meaty hands, thick forearms) is there a way to simulate this?

Unironically youre not going to be considered a man until your about 29-30. Currently 24 and this is what Ive realized being in the workforce for a few years. 20s are like a second adolescence where youre an apprentice in the real world.

This is because men go through a second puberty at the end of their 20s. Thats when you get your final form and actually look like an adult. Peak T levels is in your early 30s because of this

since i turned 18 i think my dick got a little girthier but thats it for 'growth'
otherwise just more wrinkles and bodyhair

I've though about it this way too. Maybe it isn't that we haven't had time to develop yet. it could actually be a recent change in humans' environment that didn't affect boomers in their developmental stages.
Unironically redpilled. Have you moved out of the big cities?

interesting post but do you have a source on this?

How old are you now though? Your hands/neck/wrists didn't get thicker?

You become an actual man at 30. Before that, anything below 21 is a retarded kid.

No. You aren't shit at 18.

No. Whoever told you an 18byear old is fully developed has never spoken to one, or is underage

caucasian and slaviac man reach maturity as last

I love Norway

Yes by doing manual labour

Definitely not. I noticed that me and almost all my friends seem to still be physically maturing way into their mid twenties. I'm 22 myself and I look and feel more masculine than I was at 18. My back is thicker, my forearms and hands are larger and rougher, my face is hairier and more rugged. I think I'm a bit taller too but I haven't taken a measurement.

I'm 21 and still a fat fuck

No, we keep growing till around 30. Compare 18 year olds to their dads and the dad always has wider shoulders, thicker wrists, thicker neck and a bigger jaw. That's because our bone structure and general frame continues to grow post 18

>This is because men go through a second puberty at the end of their 20s. Thats when you get your final form and actually look like an adult. Peak T levels is in your early 30s because of this

Does anyone have any source on this?

>...has never spoken to one
yeah, but I'm not referring to mental development so i don't care about if 18 year olds say retarded shit. I feel like I've had to clarify this too many times by now. I know.

me too :)

What a fucking smartass reply.

Hopefully this happens to me. Thanks for the hope fren.

I really want this to be true :) Btw do you have a source?

i feel you man i've been 18 for 4 months now and i dont feel it at all i still see myself as a kid desu, looking at my classmates there is a big difference,i am 6 foot 2 and look decent but some of my classmates are absoulte msnlets as well as fat fucks, some of the girls still havent developed womenly bodies and look like pre teens there is just a big difference

Responsibility makes men, not age. There are 40 year old's who act more petty than 16 year olds. The only thing that makes them seem like men is their stubble and dead eyes. There are 13 year olds in foreign countries who act more mature than most adults in the US because they have to survive. You don't become a man till you spend 2-3 years supporting yourself

>>Are these kids supposed to be "men"?
I don't believe 18 year olds these days are truely capable of making important decisions on their own. It only seems to be getting worse as time goes on.

Very true.

Very relatable but dude, I just have to tell you: please punctuate your sentences. Reading a sentence that doesn't stop and replaces . with , is cancer.

user, please. I agree with what you're saying but like I tried to clarify in the OP and after; I am talking about physical development, not mental. I am interested in if an 18 year old male really is done growing (in terms of bone, hair, natural muscle mass).

Attached: InZane.jpg (258x598, 21K)

Blacks yes
If you have neanderthal DNA though (i.e. white or asian), you can expect to mature until your mid 20s

Based. That's why there are so many normies making "jokes" bout "I dont know what Im doing in life" and how this "adulting stuff is hard".

Stop going to clubs to waste time, money and brain cells, stop smoking, drinking and eating garbage. Find a hobby, a purpose for yourself and you'll have plenty to do, youll feel like an adult.

T levels are literally highest at around 18-20. They start dropping at 25 and drop consistently with every year after. You don't peak at 30 as far as that goes, but you do definitely continue developing, and by 30 usually you will be a moderately aware and well rounded individual with something to offer the world. Unless you are a hopeless degenerate that is.

This. There is such a thing as a second puberty. I looked like shit 16-22 and from 24+ i completely changed in facial features and started to slay. I went monkmode tho before I got my second puberty.

Attached: 29t0wr95e4y01.jpg (944x629, 88K)

I didn't feel like a man until I was like 23-24. Women look GOOD at 18, like full fledged adults to me. But 18 year old guys look like juvenile string beans, awkwardly overgrown kids

So yeah I agree with you. Maybe its because men hit puberty later and need more time to develop. Like at 19 I looked like a kid with artificial muscles and baby face and at 24 I had a full beard and looked like I could headline for the UFC and I know I'm not the only guy who developed that way. Most 18 year old dudes look like twinks barring freaks that will get drafted into the NFL anyways

Also 18-24 I got way broader in bone structure

No. Some dudes look like adults at 20 already, but most of us get THE look at late 20s

I meant Caucasian broadly, as in the whole race. But North Europeans, including Slavic to seem to reach maturity later than others.

>This. There is such a thing as a second puberty.
neckbeard at 20, cheekbone beard and wizard eyebrows at 30. only soibois dont get there.

Attached: 1498948604126.jpg (400x400, 95K)

Pretty sure I grew another inch from 18 to 20, from 6'3 to 6'4. Wish i had lifted seriously though

Attached: 1548718028678.gif (600x600, 203K)

I kept growing in a couple of ways until I was about 20 or 21. Gained a bit of height and facial hair came in thicker year by year. Mind you I wasn’t lifting at the time so it had nothing to do with that. Everyone is different but I can at least say it is possible you will continue to grow physically into your early 20s.

I wasn't vaccinated and have eaten almost strictly organic food my whole life and I'm 5'8" what the fuck happened

18, definitely not.

I'm 21, since being 18, while I don't measure myself and can't remember the last time I measured myself, I've certainly grown an inch, maybe an inch and a half

My body has developed quite a bit, I'd say I'm probably 20-30% stronger overall as I move more into "grown man strength" if you will, my posture has erected quite a bit, mainly from running but just overall I've gotten stronger not even through lifting

Facial hair, coming in way way more.

Starting to really develop chest/stomach hair, whereas I maybe had peach fuzz at 18

Definitely, definitely not done in your physical growth at 18. Don't plan to shoot up another 3 inches, but definitely you're going to probably at minimum get another inch in your early adult years, and if not your body is going to move into more grown man and get bigger overall in a way where your statures going to increase.

I don't know the scientific literature, but I'd imagine you've peaked at 25 and could reasonably not expect any more growth from there.

Why did we lower voting age to 18? Those kids are fucking stupid. Raise it up to 25 or 30 again

I'm only 19 and although my schedule's been relatively similar for the last few years, I've noticed tremendous growth in the last year alone.
Facial features becoming more masculine.
Test increasing.
Strength increasing.
Mental health improving.
Facial hair developing.
Mass developing.
Height increasing.
Almost everything is improving in some way, shape or form.

So no, judging by my case, men are not fully developed by 18. Far from it.

Mentally yes, but bone structure can still change, proof either by mewing or growth hormone, my face became more chiseled and defined at 19 and 20, then started to recede after 21

This dude is spot on
Im 18 too user and i didnt really start trying to use my brain till 6 months ago and reaching my goals in gym helped spur me on todo harder shit to get a good career and iv noticed alot more thots are interested but iv learnt alot about myself as you will if you actually put the effort in to make something of yourself also watch scooby

>everyone thinks that I'm 10 years older.

Most males naturally peak in testosterone levels around 18 user. The average natural 18 year old male is biologically more masculine than a natural 30 year old male.

Literally nobody in the world is fully grown at 18 it's an arbitrary cut off

I also haven't grown in height since I was 15. I'm pretty sure it's extremely rare to grow in height past 18 anyway.

How do i work towards self imrovement and gain discpline?
I need guidance, i'm 18

No. I was 5'11 when I was 18 and now that I am 21 I am 5'10

He's right kid

Either you measured wrong or measured at different times during the day

It's funny that you say the brain doesn't stop developing until 25. What that really means is that mass synaptic pruning is done at 25 but it continues in some degree for your entire life. also they all look like kids because vaccines are made with onions

Bro it's just getting old my brother was super skinny till about 22 or 23 then he got thick. It's just about metabolism and growing up young men(18) are supposed to be skinny. Being a man mentally can happen when your 12 or when your 40. But I consider being a man physically maybe about 25+ because then your done growing for sure.

I'm 26 and have only started to feel like I've grown up in the last two years. A sudden increase in responsibility (also competence) and independence pretty much did it. I've definitely noticed a change in my demeanor and attitude in the last year.

I'm 18 as well and it's a very weird feeling. When my grandfather was 18 he was killing Japanese on Iwo Jima and I'm sitting in high school. I don't feel like an adult.

idk
turn 20 in a few days, thought by now the hormones would be gone and noporn/fap would be easy, but desu it seems to only get worse. I routinely get 1 or 2 days, usually around church on sundays, and then Im screwed again.

Never forget

Noticed this too. Men are still often seen as attractive even in their 40s. Women peak from 15-25. Then their looks (usually) crash hard. When I was 15 there were a lot of girls who were already pretty much fully matured. And here in Sweden 15 is the age of consent.

>I didn't feel like a man until I was like 23-24. Women look GOOD at 18, like full fledged adults to me. But 18 year old guys look like juvenile string beans, awkwardly overgrown kids
perfectly described.

>North Europeans, including Slavic to seem to reach maturity later than others.
Well, I'm northern European. There is hope!

Based Roman Salute

haha yeah. It's weird that how late males become men nowadays. If we (18 year olds) lived in basically any other time in history we would be actual warriors, hunters or at least workers by now. Maybe we would even be dads.

You guys give me hope :)

You gain discipline through persistence and action, you're considered an adult by the gov. at 18 but I don't think I really became a fully formed man until my mid 20's when I started thinking more for myself and making positive/responsible decisions for myself.

Slowing down on the drinking and partying, having control of your thoughts and emotions, thinking about how your actions affect your future and those around you and breaking out of social group think are good places to start when you're ready. Going out and being willing to make mistakes and then learning from them afterwards is vital to growing.

A lot of those experiences you go through from 18-25 are necessary to go through. You gain wisdom through living an authentic life.

Just have some basic expectations of yourself and try to be consistent with living up to them while you go through the ride. You're still growing up and we all get there eventually, being able to experience that stuff and then move past it at the appropriate time so you don't end up being developmentally stuck in some extended adolescent phase is really the most important part of it all.

THIS. All my family members looked like skinny little shits until their mid to late twenties. Like, for some on the German side looking at them at 20 and then 30 they look completely different. Same with the Norwegians, but with the Norwegians you can still sorta tell it's the same person. For one of my uncles, he looked like 15 in his army boot camp photo, then suddenly in his later 20s he literally looked like the Chad meme guy.

I'm 29 now and this is so true. I was skinny as fuck all throughout my teens up to my mid twenties but in the past 2-3 years all my facial hair finally came in and I started making massive gains.

Went from 160-210 from 2016 to now, big arms, big legs, a little bit around the mid section but I'm evolving into daddy mode. All my friends can't believe how much I've changed and female attention has increased 10 fold.

most 18 year old guys at my college are usually babyfaced/young looking twinks or bearded overweight guys. not much in berween

It really just comes down to having the discipline to complete the tasks in your life as they are presented to you.

Need to be independent? Get a job.
Need to be healthy? Workout. Eat better.
Need to become wiser? Read.
Need to get into a university? Study.

Taking responsibility and initiative for your life. That's all it is.

People try to romantasize adulthood, but it is actually quite simple, and moderately difficult.

You don't see much talk about this because it only really happens with men in the euro genetic grouping. Nigs are fully matture around 14-18, so most studies focus on that.

Once a wristlet, always a wristlet

My dad has a 7 inch wrist, whereas mine is only 6.4 inches and I'm 6'2, the same height as my dad. Pic related is not me. Even my grandma has bigger wrists than me, not kidding. My biceps look pretty big because of this though.

it is 100% the environment you were raised in.

Men are physically mature by 18-22/23

Women are emotional mature by 15, and then stop till motherhood
Men are emotional mostly mature by 25, but keep maturing
