I get a good hotel paid for one night every week, they pay for my travel costs, and they pay for my food while I'm away regardless of what I do. Its part of the job but its also cheaper for them to do it this way than to simply pay me more and expect me to front the costs myself. Riding my bike is what got me from 300 lbs down to 220. It saves money and I get to go to class wearing tight ass bike shorts and a tank top without anyone saying shit. Luckily I live in a 99% white town with bikepaths and bikelanes so I rarely encounter asshole drivers. Campus is slightly worse but that's only because of the Asians and potholes.

At the moment I have a Specialized and a Fuji (Carbon Frame). Full T-Rex mode as well and proud of it.
