what is the cure for this
Hide your keys before you start drinking
Use a safe or something with a long combination
Don't memorize the combination. Instead write a program that you can input the combination into. The program will then output the combination after you solve a series of semi-randomized logic or hand-eye coordination puzzles that you can only do while sober.
I think if you carry on the problem will take care of itself OP
I've fought people for my keys before
Jesus christ
drink at home nigga prepair a meal or have food ready.
the fuck do you mean how do I stop driving drunk.
shit if its other peoples beer I guess that difrent dude just don't be a dick and drink half a mans case.
sell your car
just don't buy a new one while drunk
Stop drinking ya fucking alcoholic
Crash. You'll defintely stop if you do that.
Same as always. Easy on the brakes, then pull in the clutch. Always check your mirrors
I still don't know how to do that
That's just how you drive drunk
I always turn on cruise control and try to focus on steering
Don't drink......you obviously can't it well.
A DUI stopped me
>lawyer resolved case because I was good boy and did rehab and breathalyzer in car for a year
>state I got it in makes resolved cases sealed so it's not on my record
Still never doing that again. DUIs suck and it would have made my life a hell of a lot worse if it didn't get sealed
Jesus christ they make you do rehab for DUIs?
That all comes down to the deal reached between your lawyer and judge. I was told
>go to rehab and enroll in an aftercare program and this vanishes from your record
So of course I fucking took it. I for damn sure didn't want anyone finding a DUI on a background check
License suspension and breathalyzer in car was mandatory in the state though
I've revised my strategy
here is what you do
>buy a safe
>when you drink, make up a new combination for the safe and put your keys in it
>do not memorize the combination
>instead, email it to yourself on a timer (some email providers have this service built in I think), something like 6 to 8 hours later, or however long it takes for you to get smashed then sober up
Bam. I think this one is close to reasonable.
only if you want your keys back asap.
and also 1000s in fines and getting that thing installed. and bought.
I think when its all said and done that user payed 5k easy.
>I think when its all said and done that user payed 5k easy.
It was $1000 for the lawyer, $250 in court fees, and about $1500 for the breathalyzer.
damn got off light then
friend ive got has 2,500 to pay in just fines for his shit.
lost license for at least 3 more years and has to take classes to get it back as well.
hey op what state do you live in lets just look up your states dui laws.
drink at home if u live in the sticks.
take uber if you live in the city.
seriously uber is so fucking cheap theres literally zero reason to risk driving drunk these days.

Not OP, but yeah got off pretty light because the billboards everywhere say that you'll pay like $10k. I had a clean record and was obviously an alcoholic so the lawyer was able to get me a really good deal.
I lost my license for about 3 months, then afterwards had to have the blowie in my car for 12 months (because refused to blow at police station, which probably also helped).
In Connecticut (the state I got it in), dismissed cases (which mine was because goodboy) are automatically sealed, so I got real lucky with that - I don't know if any other states do that
Some states are super lax with DUIs.
For example, in Wisconsin it's like a $300 fine and your license is "revoked" for 6-9 months (which can probably be paid off too).
It's not like they take your keys away, just gotta drive extra careful
>lost license for at least 3 more years
Either this wasn't his first DUI, or he hit something/someone, or did some other vehicle crime on top of that.
drug dealing charges.
