OP here..

>6ft 190 12%

>I train mostly volume for aesthetics, but tend to circuit train and add in HIIT more than your average bodybuilder. Love to run, legs I train more functional less 5x12.

>Goal is to look good and feel good. I live at the beach so definitely a beach body.

>Shoulders lack definition compared to rest of body because they’re my least favorite to work out. Drink too much beer with the boys. Alcohol is 99% of my cheating.

>Eat the rainbow

>I don't hate guys who lift for strength gains, and admit they are definitely stronger than me lb for lb because of the way they train. I know plenty of “manlets” who are stronger than me, more knowledge, and more disciplined. My great friend is both shorter and stronger than me with a sexy girlfriend. Do you dudes, fuck what anyone thinks about you, I support you, go get fit.

Good Vibes user. Seems like you just need to follow that advice and be consistent! You sound close to male model aesthetics already. Little more bulk then a disciplined cut? You’re gonna make it just fine brother just depends on how bad you want it now

Mirin stats hard. Never heard eat the rainbow before but i dig it.

Strongest/healthiest guy (lb for lb) Ive ever met became a good friend and mentor of mine both in health and finance. The dude was 42 and looked 30, absolutely shredded 180lb, full head of long hair. “Eat the rainbow” was his #1 rule! Obviously his goal wasn't to be the biggest, but superb health and sharp mind!

5'6/159 lbs/14-15%

5 day split
chest+triceps/back+biceps/legs/shoulders+chest+triceps/back+biceps
Switch back and legs each week, and train abs every day except for the day before legs.

To be the best manlet on the planet.

Sleep schedule.

Most people don't know jack shit. Eat clean, drink lots of water, sleep well, and train right and you'll make better gains than 90% of the other idiots in the gym.

Fucking get it dude. Everything you said is spot on. Not just better gains that way, but better overall health. Keep it up.

> train abs every day

Y’all better listen to this user. This is how you get sick abs. If you don’t feel a little soreness when you sneeze or cum, you aren’t working them hard enough.

Also, I like that you’re still on a 5 day split. Current popular opinion says it’s not optimal but I’d love to go in and focus hard as fuck on one muscle group and really annihilate it, seems like fun.

Do you feel like abs everyday makes them become too big, or rather unsightly. Like instead of the male model proportions, you start getting the huge barrel bodybuilder kind? I still train them most days but felt like I started looking fatter in fitted shirts cuz they pop, and I don't want to make my chest too much bigger to counter it. Maybe I should do less or go back to free body ab workouts.

>H/W/BF%

>How do you train?
1:1 ratio of cardio and weights each session which varies from 90-120 minutes.
>What are your goals?
Maintain as much muscle as possible while cutting weight down to 188lbs-190lbs. Increase cardio. Keep looking good and outlive my enemies (5 down so far).
>What do feel you could improve?
Cardio.
>>Best advice you’ve ever received regarding your fitness journey?
Stay consistent, get enough sleep and watch what you eat, after that it all falls into place.
>Say something chill.
The hardest decisions will give you the life you want.

From what it sounds like, you need to stay persistent, determined, and away from drugs brother. Fuck off with the suicidal thoughts and I say that with love. We believe in you so go get those size and strength gains.

Damn, beastly, How do you stay so built with that ratio of cardio? I fee like Id lose weight so fast. What does your diet look like?

(checked breh)
Thanks breh. I'm just going through some shit right now. I'm playing surrogate daddy with a half brother while the rest of my friends are moving out of the city, going to college, and/or working. Not to mention that my gf of a year plus left me to pursue her career goals.

I'm probably just being an emo faggot anyways. I need to get into a better mindset. I begin my hypertrophy cycle tomorrow, I must harden myself.

Good luck on your gains, and again, nice trips

You’re more of a man and a better human being than all of them for being selfless and sacrificing to do what’s right. And the whole time you’re still making time to work out. If anyone has an excuse to be out of shape, it’s you, but you chose not to be a faggot. The world needs more men like you user.

You’re just at a crossroads my dude.

You can keep being afraid of failing because you’re doing drugs and/or comparing yourself to those people doing those things. This option is a total waste of time and then you would be being a pussy. Or you can go attack that goal in the gym, and after the other responsibilities, you go read about how to get bigger, better, stronger, richer, and attract that next chick who will be better for you anyways. Appreciate you anonymous, make the right choice.

>all of these kinds words
You make me blush, no homo.
I wish it was as admirable as you make it out though.
>pick kid up at 3:30-4:00 depending

>make him take a shower
>chill til 8:30, then put him to bed
>rest of the night is whatever
He's an easy 6 year old to be honest.

I think I'm going to try and juggle a personal life with the responsibility of raising little bro though. I applied for the graveyard shift at planet fitness. I'd be going to work at 10:30, getting off and going to bed at around 6:30AM, and then I'd have plenty of time to sleep til around 3:30, when I'd have to resume parenting duty.
I haven't gotten a call back from them yet, but it hasn't even been a full week. Wish me luck bros.

You're fucking right bro
>attract another gf who will be better
Y-yeah. She was such a qt.314 blondie blue eye though, like my fetish personified.

user make some goals. What does improving “everything” mean? Figure that out and there is your goal. Then find a mentor whether its online or in person to give you that good advice. Why no interaction? Are you at fault, or do you live far from civilization? Come on brother we seriously do believe in you.

- 6'5", 235, permissible 'love handles'
- Novice LP (SS)
- Powerlifting total 1000-1200 at the end of LP
- My bench is falling behind. Also training OHP. Same issue. Now that my squat and deadlift are up to a satisfactory level I'm putting more focus on these.
- Do your fives.
- Namaste my niggers

Appreciate that read and what you had to say user. Keep up the hard work go get those chesticles.

5'11 200lbs 15-17% (been a while since I've checked)

Upper body Monday and Thursday, Lower body Tuesday and Friday, Abs Wednesday

Wanna get strong and look ripped.

I've realized that I need to focus on my diet a lot more. Not enough protein and end up succumbing to temptation sometimes

Your willpower and determination to go to the gym is what will get you Jow Forums and what separates you from everyone who "can't bother" to go to the gym and improve themselves.

Your future is in your hands. You can do anything but only if you take the initiative. I think I can safely say that a lot of us have felt like if we wait around, good things will come our way. That isn't true most of the time. That girl won't talk to you, you have to talk to her. You won't wake up tomorrow with Arnold's body, you gotta grind for it. Life is about accomplishing difficult tasks.

Attached: 1553833301271.jpg (988x555, 231K)

Powerlifting bro, you keep getting at it. Ill be miring that weight from afar, getting my “pump” and eating for abs. Just know that Im not hating man. We have different goals and I hope you crush yours.

Appreciate all of the good vibrations and thank you for contributing user. You do exactly what you just said, tighten up the diet, resist temptation, and get in that gym, and you’re gonna be strong and ripped. Good luck my guy.

Thanks user. Temptation is a killer. With stores laying out all the sweets at the entrance, the biggest thing that keeps me from giving up is disgust and fear that I'll end up like those who've let go of themselves and cave in at the slightest temptation. It gets worse when even family try to tempt you and passive aggressively get in the way of your progress.

>Height/Weight/BF%?

“Live a little” “You look fine” “You don’t need to look so ripped” It slowly starts to fade the more and more ripped and confident you get. Tell them with the utmost respect, whether family or friends, to politely fuck off. “Stick to the edges of the supermarket.” Basically avoid the isles, they tend to be all the shit carbs anyway. All the healthy foods are usually surrounding the edges of the supermarket. Right there with you bro we got this.

5’6 / 162 / 15-18%

PPL usually everyday barring most Friday’s and Saturday’s or if I played a sport (intramurals or pick up basketball)

Goals are to shred excess fat and look good

Could definelty stand to do more core and make my abs more visible, outside of fitness finish the semester with a 4.0

Just have fun lads, don’t be a degenerate, work hard.

Attached: E0FD767B-ECE1-41E4-BAF4-966A32E4F7BC.png (750x498, 673K)

Hell yeah bro, thanks for letting me vent a little. I'm turn myself into something my ancestors would be proud of.

Awesome brother, good luck with 200 coming up and kill it with the muscle ups, we’re proud of you here, we know what real progress takes. Keep killing it.

Keep up whatever you're doing especially having fun and being a good guy. You already know brother that final step to abs is just tightening up what we do in the kitchen. Make it happen.

Training for 13 years there is a significant amount of lean body mass on my frame. Cardio ratio has always been relatively high since I started training at a young age (boxing, BJJ, Muay Thai). I was raised in house where cardio was the indication of an athletes fitness level, not strength. My diet is mostly unprocessed foods, right now I am at 2010kcal calories a day to cut weight. I eat around 2600kcal though and work myself into a deficit of 2010kcal. Around three more weeks then I will just maintain.

Thanks Abs bro. I hope they put our statues in the same museum. Meanwhile, stay the course. The gains are on the horizon.

I WANT TO PLAY A VIDEO GAME

Go ahead and play a video game user, just make sure you're putting your health and success before leisure.

Awesome, after some thought I assumed it was plenty of high intensity. I don't know why I imagined you jogging 8 miles for an hour and then lifting. Damn right you athlete. I admire that heart of a lion.

I wish my grandpa could see how jacked I've gotten. He was a swimmer and tall like me. Never a lifter but he had the same body and I'm trying to honour him in many ways by getting strong with these genes he gave me. I couldn't have done it without him.

Both sides of my family have great genes, and it would be insulting and disrespectful to not show them off and utilize them to their full potential. I lift in the hope that my grandpa would be as proud of me as your grandpa would be proud of you.

The cardio I do is Low Intensity Steady State. High Intensity Interval Training did not provide the results I wanted. I stationary cycle 25km then lift. Working on stronger willpower through cardio. Thanks man I will keep at it.

Do it because of what you said, because you want to live a long time with her, and because you want healthy kids even more Jow Forums than you! Thank you brother.

I was going to say MINDSET so I'm glad you added that in.

>Height/Weight/BF
5'11"/290lbs/too fucking high.

>How do you train?
Was focused on powerlifting, but am stopping due to seeing Jay Masters tear both his fucking quads recently. Aesthetics only now. Not interested in being crippled. Ever. I've already fucked my shoulder and back up before due to heavy lifting.

>Training Goals
I'll be 33 this year. I want to live a healthier life. I'm feeling my age, and I don't like that. I've been depressed and overweight all my life, and I'm sick of it. I'm finally seeing results, and it's keeping me moving forward.

>What do feel you could improve?
I keep fucking up on my keto lifestyle, especially when I travel. I need to start anticipating these things, and succeed at them accordingly.

>Say Something Chill

>What are your goals?

>What do feel you could improve?
quit smoking, diet(eat more), sleep pattern, being able to do this shit on my own as i keep asking my friend to tell me what to do each time I go, and hopefully start feeling better in my head

>Best advice you’ve ever received regarding your fitness journey?
don't quit, you'll be amazed by your progress when you look back on it

i could probably improve my training consistency and hunger for my gains, since im already strong i feel content if that makes sense

best advice: when you think about quitting, remember why you started

we’re all gonna make it lads

Not him but nah dude. You'll never get abs like those bodybuilders since their organs have grown from all the shit they're on. But if you do feel like your abs get a bloated look, I would guess you're not doing your stomach vacuums. Stomach vacuums are god tier for any sport, and they make your abs look incredible

>Best advice you’ve ever received regarding your fitness journey?
Leg drive on the bench
>Say something chill.
Just train what you care about. If you wanna be shredded, great, if you wanna be strong, great. Both are valid, just choose your path and enjoy the process.

>Height/Weight/BF%?
6'2 200lbs, 18-20%bf mabe ?
>How do you train?
4 day PP (Push Strengh, Pull Strengh, Push Accessories, Pull Accessories)
>What are your goals?
Getting that strongfat bloat/bouncer mode
>What do feel you could improve?
Eating better, lifting bigger
>Best advice you’ve ever received regarding your fitness journey?
"Focusing on lifting heavy will make you bigger than doing a regular brosplit"

I've started talking to another Jow Forumsyzen from my country (France), and it feel really good to have someone to meme with. We are all gonna make it pals

Jow Forums if comfy because of cool people like you who love this place
Be happy my frend
What are your deadlifts accessories ? I've found that doing snatchgrip helped me keeping my back flat a lot
i hope your first meet will be fun, let's kill it

Tbh I don't really do accessory work for the deadlift except leg press. My main problem is that I kinda "pull" the bar with my shoulders, my trainer is always telling me to push through the floor and use my glutes because "You're starting too high and just lifting it with your back, you have to push, you're not using your glutes". So I'm always in this cycle of fixing it, using on bigger weights and fucking it up again.

>Height/Weight/BF%?
185cm/75kg/~14%
>How do you train?
PPL, but still trying to focus on the big 4
>What are your goals?
Getting down to 12% until may, should be no problem
>What do feel you could improve?
I legitimately bench more than i squat. I got really crooked feet and recently started using orthopedic inlays which kinda helps but i still keep getting small injuries and aches from squatting. Hopefully lifting shoes will help.
>Best advice you’ve ever received regarding your fitness journey?
Watch what you eat, exercise 3+ times a week, stretch and get enough sleep.
>Say something chill.
This place helped me more than i can say in one post. I had a weird moments of clarity 18 months ago, shortly after i came back to this place, and managed to turn my life around.
Will try to greentext my story someday and maybe inspire some other user, we can all make it.

>Height/Weight/BF%?
6'0"/180 lbs/probably 20%, haven't properly checked
>How do you train?
Modified SS; bench MF, OHP W, since my bench sucks compared to my OHP
>What are your goals?
1/2/3/4 currently; in general, to be the kind of man where, in the future when I have children, my son could say "my dad can beat up your dad" and be right
>What do feel you could improve?
Currently, besides improving my numbers, I really need to figure out how to stop using my arms so much during power cleans
>Best advice you’ve ever received regarding your fitness journey?
Unironically all the info in the Starting Strength book; even if you hate the routine, the information on the lifts is second to none
>Say something chill.
Lightweight, baby

bump

>>Height/Weight/BF%?

>>What do feel you could improve?
Less alcohol on weekend
>>Best advice you’ve ever received regarding your fitness journey?
I can not put it in one sentence but at a time in my life I learned a lot about lifting, rep-range and shit within 3 months.
>>Say something chill.
Do it for yourself, not for others, especially not for women. You'll make it and one day you may ...

>Height/Weight/BF%?
5ft10, 160lbs
>How do you train?
I train at home with kettlebells - swings, lunges, cleans, squats, presses.
4 times a week about 60-90 minutes per session.
>What are your goals?
Right now I'm using a 28kg kettlebell and my goal is to be able to do my entire routine with a 32kg kettlebell.
>What do feel you could improve?
My diet and my sleep schedule for sure.
>Best advice you’ve ever received regarding your fitness journey?
The best workout is the one that you actually do so make sure you pick exercises that you enjoy doing.
>Say something chill.
Sometimes it seems that gravity is pulling on the weight a little harder than usual and sometimes your mind is just too cloudy for you to focus on the workout. It probably means that you should not put any more stress on your body than it is already subjected to, let it rest.

Thanks OP these are the kinda threads I love Jow Forums for. Anybody can make it you just have to work hard and really commit yourself to your goals. Good luck in your journey everyone!!

>Height/Weight/BF%?
1m75 / 78kg / around 10%

>How do you train?
PPLPPLx
>What are your goals?
Right now i'm still improving pretty quickly since i've switched 6 months ago from mma to lifting
I was able to hit 3pl8 squat and 4pl8 deadlift (my bench is horrible tho) within those 6 months and now i'm cutting some weight before bulking and gaining strength again

>What do feel you could improve?
My bench, my chest is absolutely horrible

>Best advice you’ve ever received regarding your fitness journey?
It's not about how much there is on the bar but how hard you go when you lift that bar

>Say something chill.
Spices on your food will transform the way you eat

>>Height/Weight/BF%?
5'6" (yes I know) 155lbs 15ish %
>>How do you train?
Barbells and bodyweight, usually run some 5/3/1 variant
>>What are your goals?
Get strong as fuck for wrestling. Looking good is nice but secondary. Obviously have to keep a low bf% and good conditioning
>>What do feel you could improve?
Lmao, everything. My bench and squat need work, my arms are a bit small and my conditioning could be better.
>>Best advice you’ve ever received regarding your fitness journey?
Consistency over everything. Just get in the damn gym
>>Say something chill.
This place saved me. I was a fat retard with no confidence or social skill. I was embarrassed of myself. Getting fit helped me so much. This place taught me countless life lessons. Somehow I learned about stoicism, politics, healthy eating, martial arts, and life all from this place. People hate on this place so much but it honestly saved me.
