I usually wake up with very little appetite, and have trouble keeping down much more than a couple hundred calories. When fruit is in season I'll generally have a serving of unsalted dry roasted almonds and a nectarine or a couple plums. In the winter just one of these bars. 220 Cal, 10g fat, 8 g protein, and 26 g carbs (of which 18 are sugar).

Probably not the best, but it could be worse. I don't really eat much sugar other than breakfast though.
