What is /fast/?

What’s the difference between intermittent fasting, water fasting, dry fasting, etc.?

How do I safely do an extended fast?
>Take snake juice, or just supplement electrolytes.
>Water=2L
>Potassium chloride =1 tsp (No Salt)
>Sodium chloride = 1/2 tsp (Himalayan Pink Salt)
>Sodium Bicarbonate = 1 tsp (Baking Soda)
>Magnesium Sulphate = 1/2 tsp (Food Grade Epsom Salts)
>Mix these in 2L of water and sip it throughout the day.
>[OPTIONAL] 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar and 4 tbsp lemon juice. DO NOT MIX with snake juice, drink separately.
>You can also do this if you feel lightheaded, weak, dizzy, nauseous, etc., on shorter water fasts. Don’t do this while intermittent fasting.

Won’t I go into starvation mode?

Will (something with calories) break my fast?

If my BMR is 1800, doesn’t that mean I just have to go like 37 days fasted to drop 10%?

Also in this model does that mean OMAD would need 37 days, while 48s would need 19 total fasted days or does the refeed mean 48s would take 37 days?

Your body is probably just getting into ketosis, You need to be drinking at least 2 L of water with electrolyte supplement such as snake juice or another homemade concoction

I'm not looking to get bulky, I do calisthenics and power yoga for the most part; I wanted to do the fasting for the detoxification and getting down to a baseline body, since I've been eating like shit lately and haven't been working out. In general I'm just trying to reset myself physically and build up again from there

Yea if you feel starving and It's after the 3 or 4 day mark that's a sign you might be breaking down muscle. You can do a 2 day fast then eat if you want to keep your leanness without starving.

That amount is easily within fixable range, it'll look normal within a year or so as long as he does some exercise.

Extended fasts like that are meant for fat fucks who need to heave through incredible amounts of caloric deficit to make substantial gains. You're already so small that you're probably fucking yourself up chief.

I have a summer-body deadline which I found reasonable. 2 months, 12 kg.
I just now did the math that it's about 0.2kg per day.

Autophagy happens anyway, but on dry fasting it's elevated. It's extremely good if you have chronic inflammation, loose skin, scars and other damaged cells you want to heal. You're going to feel like shit though, so if your goal is just weight loss just extend your sj fasts more

I've never fasted before. I'm fatter than fat like 40%. I did a 3 day dry fast no problems. I have since been snake juicing for 3 days so I'm at 6 days total. I was fine but this morning i awoke with Hypoglycemia symptoms. Weakness, fatigue, shakes anxiety all of it. What s0hould I do? Should i refeed keep going 8 dont know. Pls help

Snake juice is a meme unless you're going 4+ days. I still drink it the day before a refeed though before going to coconut water/broth the day of on 4-7 day fasts, it's just good to play it safe.

I wouldn't start on 72s. I have started this fast thing two times now(fasted 48s-96s for a few months last spring-summer and picked it up again like two months ago) and both times the first days were a fucking bitch and it might put you off. You get used to it fast tho so it gets better so keep that in mind if you feel like quitting early.
I'd say do OMAD for a couple days, then do a couple 48s, then try to push for as long as you want.

Day 4 of my indefinite fast: I've been spacing out everytime I stand up when I've been sitting/lying down for too long (like when you squat for a bit then stand up quickly and blow on your thumb); this also happened last week when I did my 3 day fast.

I'm doing snake juice, and I'm 5'11, 225lbs so there's still a lot of fat for me to go around with -- at least for a few more weeks.
