As someone who has dedicated much of my life to music I would be interested in knowing what you think you hear in it over us supposedly inferior beings.

I can see having a better grasp on motifs and how they are developed though that is not very difficult. And perfect pitch is not particularly helpful when listening to music because you have a frame of reference from the tonic so you can use relative pitch. Perfect pitch seems mostly useful for singers improvising over substituted chords and bragging, but you know all about that evidently.

Improvise over what? If you are soloing over some blues progression there are only chord tones, 5 basic notes and the passing tones between them. That doesnt take any ear training at all. Over diatonic and simple triad substitution its all do re me and the notes from scales you should have practiced a million times already. With altered chords, harmonic scales and diminished substitution all the notes are so distinct and dissonant it is easy to tell what is what by ear. What harmonic frame would you need perfect pitch?

When you are singing alone without other instruments it could be cool to pull out all the notes a m11 chord and move that around by whole steps or something I guess. To me the perfect pitch almost sounds more complicated. You have to think okay we are in the key of D so I can sing this c# over the a chord and then when we substitute from the aeolian scale I have to sing a c. But you can just hear and know that with relative pitch. Why do you have to know the pitch separate from everything to improvise easier?

For example, one of the things I was surprised to find in an educational attainment study was that genotypes associated with irritable bowel syndrome were associated with lower educational attainment. You say you have cirrhosis, well, alcoholism has a strong genetic component. Perhaps if you were born without that genetic predisposition but with the same intelligence, your life would be different.
