TOBACCO IS GREAT

anyone else love tobacco here?

what do you smoke?

>muh tobacco is bad for you

NOPE! that's a total lie.

Check this Jow Forums thread where I utterly annihilated all the big pharma and vape company shills trying to attack this unpatented plant that anyone can grow for free in their own back yard:

Also, the guy in the pic ran a marathon at age 100, the London marathon, and literally smoked during it!

I meant age 101 BTW

a) Nicotine stimulates and upregulates growth and branching of blood vessels (via upregulation of vascular growth factor), especially of capillaries, which improves the nutrient delivery and cleanup (antioxidant & detox enzyme supplies) to all tissues, including brain and skin (provided person's intake of nutrients and supplements is adequate).

b) Tobacco smoke (not nicotine) upregulates production of glutathione, catalase and SOD (our body's chief internal antioxidant and detox enzymes, sometimes used in cosmetics for skin rejuvenation), to nearly double levels.

c) Carbon monoxide in low concentration (as delivered in tobacco smoke) acts as a signaling mechanism in human biochemical networks to increase blood circulation, oxygenation and reduce inflammation.

d) Nitric oxide in low concentrations (as provided by tobacco smoke) acts as neurotransmitter, signaling to cardiovascular system to increase blood supplies to peripheral tissues (this is the biochemical mechanism behind the Viagra effect).

e) Tobacco smoke upregulates levels of "youth hormones" DHEA and testosterone and reduces their decline with age.

f) The highest quality brands (Japanese) of the miracle skin supplement and rejuvenator, Conezyme Q10 are produced from tobacco leaf, which is still the best source of natural Co-Q10 (since it includes the full synergistic complex which the cheaper synthetic production methods cannot replicate).

g) Deprenyl (selegiline), which mimics the selective MAO B inhibitory properties of tobacco smoke (this is not related to nicotine) and is used in smoking cessation "therapies" for that reason, has become quite popular in life-extension circles, due to its almost magical rejuvenating powers.

h) Nicotinic acid (byproduct of oxidized nicotine, as in burning tobacco, delivered directly into arterial bloodstream), along with its salts and various organic compounds, are skin-protective agents, used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry.

I'm not a fan of cigarettes but I don't mind having a cigar for special occasions, that's about it though

What's Jow Forums's favorite?

Ye I smoke too but you sound like a huge faggot with your attention whoring.
Couldnt care less about my health. I'm fit as fuck anyways. I care more about pleasure and killing time. Tobacco is top tier at that.

>Couldnt care less about my health
fortunately for you, tobacco is good for you!

check out this amazing thread, where i post study after study utterly debunked the junk science 'tobacco is bad' hoaxters:

you won't regret it!

i buy bags of pipe tobacco

ULTIMATE KEK OP, top tier trolling

>The antismoking racket is truly the most evil force in the western world today. It is analogous to someone ripping respirators from patients in hospitals, justifying it by observation that respirator users have shorter lifespans than non-users, while the ex-users of respirators fall in between, hence all those terrible respirators must be ripped from the patients to save them. An their pockets need to be picked in the process to help the breathe easier (tobacco taxes are becoming a pure thievery, e.g. the first law Obama signed, increased sharply the tax on all tobacco products, and on my particular one, the rolling/loose tobacco, by 2200%; thanks Mr. Reverse Robin Hood, at least your lobbyists are happy now).

Never tried pipes, I've heard pipe tobacco is a lot more flavorful than cigars but buying a pipe just to try it seems a bit wasteful

>Doesn't smoke cigarettes

Are you bullied, mentally handicapped or both?

>b-but it kills you

And? Was life a contest about who lives the longest?

>it's addicting!!!

It's not, as long as you're not under-aged and you can smoke in moderation

>it's....IT'S EXPENSIVE!!!

Who forces you to buy a pack every day, fucking peat-gavel

>but buying a pipe just to try it seems a bit wasteful
you can get a corn cob pipe for $2 and a 1oz bag of tobacco for $4. this will last you a couple weeks

>the guy in the pic ran a marathon at age 100, the London marathon, and literally smoked during it!

I am curious as to how that is even possible. Maybe he doesn't inhale too deeply?

>Was life a contest about who lives the longest?

I cited studies showing longer lifespan in smoker animals in randomized experiments

>Who forces you to buy a pack every day, fucking peat-gavel
it's cheap if you buy regular tobacco, not mass market junk cigarettes. see:

Fuck smoking man i used to smoke and recently moved to vaping. Personally i would rather take the health advice of multiple governments and health agencies than some random anons. Seriously move on to vaping it's not as pleasant but it's far less likely to give you cancer. That being said i realise vaping is fairly new and no one knows the long term effects but current evidence shows it's better for you.

>I am curious as to how that is even possible. Maybe he doesn't inhale too deeply?
please read my thread on Jow Forums

Reposted from Jow Forums thread:

Alright, I'm intrigued. Explain to me why smoking does not cause COPD and lung inefficiencies then, when every single medical study done has shown that smoking increases the chance of less elasticized lungs and eventual COPD? It is not so much to the degree of me thinking you are an idiot, it is moreso directly challenging you to prove yourself correct that smoking is not hazardous to lung health. If what you're saying is true, then I am gladly willing to sit here and absorb and digest your arguments. Why is COPD linked to smoking in every single study presented, and why are you only predominately focusing on lung cancer? Cancer is not the only thing that can kill us, lung function is moreso important than cancer caught in early stages. Again, I am only continuing this argument where the other user stopped, because if you have a sound argument I would like to hear it.

I like to smoke weed with tobacco, it helps kick the buzz in. Smoking is my decision, maybe one day I'll grow my own.

I thought American Spirit was a meme for a long time, but I can't smoke anything else now except Marlboro Reds because they don't smell so goddamn nasty.
