animal products are preferntial to be raw since they contain unaltered aminos and lipids your body can more easily use.
plant foods need to be cooked to get most of the nutrients from consumption, and to eliminate the anti nutrients.
fruits are better raw, they're also better the fresher they are, not too great when picked from the tree a month early to have extended shelf life for shipping and sales. but they don't convert to straight fat.
again, just avoid highly processed and refined foods. hehe.
