I work a fairly physical job and I still go 5 days a week for a few hours. You will feel so much better, although you will feel properly tired afterwards.

I do factory work myself and go to gym 3 times a week. I also cycle to work but it's only 5 km. One huge meal a day works best for me as my energy levels dont crash after a heavy lunch like they used to. Also plenty of sleep. I usually eat a calorie heavy smoothie with my meal because simply eating all that food is exhausting.
