My body is screaming at me but hopefully it'll pay off. Had a nice couple days with my parents and went back home though having to catch up with book schedule proves trickier than expected (mostly due to the jarring pain from going straight back into overdrive), had a hard shift last night and look to have another today though I don't really mind. Whence the ground clears for some slight rest all should be okay. Going to resume Milky Holmes and watch a nice 6 episodes of the second season. Kind of want a hug and to collapse on someone,

How're you doing? Been missing you and good to hear that you're sober for the time being.

Megumin is like a definite Rita knock off or is it just me

I just got a job offer at an awesome company. Lots of money, way better organized than my current job. I know right now that I probably won't take it though. I hate working. I just want to be homeless again without real responsibilities and without people relying on me.

This guy is trying to insert his cuckold headcannon into the show. It's honestly super embarrassing. Yikes!

Hello Kotomi-poster, really happy to see you again. Went to a giant antique shop in Horncastle and got six hardbacks for a tenner. Really looking forward to reading them. At the moment been quick reading 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' (my favourite Bond film at that, not sure if you are familiar with the film series though). Probably going to read a book on De Valera - one of the books I read in Ireland (Luck and the Irish) gave him a brief mention before rapping on every politician past him so are rather curious as to what he was like.

Hmm... I guess I prefer Starb aesthetically because her coat looks really warm and her hair looks very comfortable to have. I bet it would be bliss to squeeze her tightly and place your hugging arm under her hair so that it flows over it if that makes sense. Of course to do so would probably get one killed but that is quite the charm. Pic related always cheers me up purely because of how huggable she appears even without her coat, you just want to poke her cheek and tickle her.

I don't think today will be too bad as I'm not closing, all the same given how presently worn out I am it will definitely take some endurance. Been having to take initiative as chef despite being there less than most of the staff which is still awkward, I am not used to commanding people at all. Getting better at it though still need great improvement.

Say in a similar line, was curious as to whether you preferred the flatter VN-version of Kotomi or the bustier anime version. Also don't know if you got it though thanks a ton for the music recommendations, particularly 'Gospel'. Would you say that Kotomi is more a waifu or more an avatar?

Attached: 31.png (600x800, 409K)

Sleep well, OP
Hardback books feel so good to read compared to... ehm, how are the other ones called, softbacks?
>At the moment been quick reading 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service'
I know some of the movies' names, but never seen one in its entirety aside from one of the newer ones. Should give it a try some time. Is there a story progression or the plot of each movie stands on its own?
>I guess I prefer Starb
She looks really cute in that pic. Those sensations you described would probably feel very nice. Was asking because I want to draw something with her and Kotomi. Don't put your expectations too high tho, haven't drawn anything in years.
Wow, leadership roles need a certain attitude. Even though you're not used to it, do you like being the leader? Also, please, take some rest as soon as you can.
>was curious as to whether you preferred the flatter VN-version of Kotomi or the bustier anime version
Hmm... probably the flatter one. I generally prefer small boobs. Also, there probably would be less lewd fanart of her if she was canonically flat and that would be a good thing. I'd love her even if she's busty though.
>Would you say that Kotomi is more a waifu or more an avatar?
Definitely waifu.
>Also don't know if you got it though thanks a ton for the music recommendations, particularly 'Gospel'.
I read that other post, you were at Paper Tiger. Did you like the latter half? As Far As You Can Throw Me is my favorite song on that record.
If you liked them, you'll probably like Funeral Diner as well, so check The Underdark.

Do you want to live with me then? You'll get your own room and I'll mostly ignore you as I work 6 days a week.

Hehe, they are paperbacks. The James Bond series of films is based on the novels by the late Sir Ian Fleming (1908-1964) and more-or-less stand on their own in that releases are not chronological (the first Bond novel, 'Casino Royale' only gained its proper movie adaptation in 2006 whereas the first Bond film, 'Dr. No' was the seventh book in the series). That being said it is easier to follow the series based on which actor was in bonds role at the time as the qualities of the films is often tied to them; for example contrasting the high acclaim of films featuring Sean Connery to the lukewarm reception of the Brosnan period).

'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' is the only Bond film to feature George Lazenby and so sticks out somewhat to begin with. Personally I love it for the fact that it stands out so much not just in the choice of actor though in the pacing and subversion of Bond's character - he's brought far more down to Earth and in many ways deconstructed as we actually begin to see him contemplating marriage, pondering the future all the while sticking to a very frustrating case of tracking Blofeld (one of the major antagonists of the series). Typically I hate forced romance though this is one of the very rare cases where it feels completely natural and works with the pacing of the film that is generally slower than the average film. It also strays far from the campiness that follows the film without being overly serious. Apologies for the long winded comment, remember going through all the Bond films a year ago on some cheap DVD set and it became painful to watch mid-way through due in great part to the predictability of it, OHMSS felt like it was part of a completely different series and its feels so fresh because of it.

I wasn't aware that you can draw, kind of jealous of you. Really nice to hear that you have a skill like that considering how many wish they could obtain such. Also very cute Kotomi image one must say.

Attached: Capture.jpg (1500x1125, 255K)

drop discord I get free housing soon anyway
i try sleep

Leadership roles are scary though when its thrust upon you mid-shift I can't really react to it. It keeps taking me a couple hours to tailor oneself towards it which often comes too late by the time I can properly advise and command. The hardest thing that never occured to me is motivation - people around the store get so stressed out and fearful of the circumstances even at times where there actually isn't really an issue, been complimenting people far more even for minor things so that they know they are good. Sometimes though it feels strangulating to speak especially when your working at a rate where you are nearly out of breath. Will probably rest a little on Monday.

Flat Kotomi does appear cuter, haven't checked the fanart yet, can't imagine it being lewd for some reason though suppose it makes sense, I guess its frustrating when a character so embellished and fleshed out in your mind is being flanderized for having a large bust as if every other aspect of her being is irrelevant. Have you ever met anyone like her in real life? Never sure if some develop waifus based on those they've known. I think she would really like you if she was tangible, don't know how to say it.

Listened to the rest of the album and while I wasn't as keen on 'And Redemption Fills The Emptiest of Hearts' the album did segue into a strong 3-track streak thereafter, really enjoyed 'Opium' and found the entire experience to take post-hardcore to the point of being borderline metal without going overboard on distortion or muffled production as is often the case.

Attached: 68.jpg (1229x2048, 256K)

Try again, OP
>Hehe, they are paperbacks
Fuck, my limited vocabulary strikes again.
You're pretty passionate about Bond movies. I'll probably try watching them chronologically as noticing the difference in picture quality may turn me off.
>we actually begin to see him contemplating marriage
Seriously? He's got quite the lady killer fame (am I using the expression 'lady killer in the right way?), that's curious.
>I wasn't aware that you can draw
Saying that I can draw is quite a big stretch. I can trace, but I still can't draw from memory. Still, I need to make my imagination flow out sometimes and drawing can be helpful with that.
>Leadership roles are scary though when its thrust upon you mid-shift I can't really react to it
Isn't there someone in charge of it where you work? Making you lead during the shift isn't really efficient since you're not used to it. I can see why motivation is hard. Compliment too much and the others will relax, do the opposite and they'll get frustrated.
>Will probably rest a little on Monday.
Good to hear.
>haven't checked the fanart yet
Don't, I'll post the good one here. It's like 40% lewd fanart and 60% sfw.
>Have you ever met anyone like her in real life?
Not exactly like her, but I had a classmate that was (and still is) really good at studying. Not sure if she was a bookworm like Kotomi though.
>I think she would really like you if she was tangible
I guess that depends on whether we already know each other or not. I'm pretty sure that I look angry even when I'm not and people avoid me.
Glad to know you liked the album. Unfortunately, that was their only one and they only released another track called The Magic Volume of Dark Matter.
Please, rec me something you like.

Was wondering if there was a limit to your English skills, honestly you type like a native, can't help but feel jealous of those in Europe many of who speak it better as a second language than many do here as the native tongue. Do you have an accent by the way?

I wouldn't say that I'm that passionate, I watched the films so that I could gain better ground for 'The Chase' (popular game show on ITV, a large British television network - plan to go on there whence I've finished university and have as solid a knowledge base as I can get). The staleness was in part due to watching one-a-day though OHMSS really was something else, eventually though the series gets to the point where it is near impossible to differentiate between films. If I had to recommend one though let it be 'Goldfinger', that's probably the definitive Bond film though 'Casino Royale' also enjoys particularly high acclaim and of course OHMSS is my favourite.

I think it reads better to say "He's quite a lady killer" or "He's a lady killer by fame" though I guess your use could work though I did have to wrap my head around it for a second. Typically each film has its 'Bond girl', usually as a token to provide an attractive model or service a forced romantic sub-plot or 'women power' though OHMSS is the only time when it compliments the film while providing an actual female character that is more than one or the other.

Nonetheless it is impressive that you can draw even to a limited degree, great that it helps stimulate your imagination too.

There are a total of three shift managers where I work though only one of them is competent as a chef (not to bash the others, though one is overly-passive and doesn't really try hard to improve while the other doesn't seem to be able to act as a chef at all), as it turns out a lot of the staff is new and the managers themselves appear quite inexperienced hence I make more an attempt to counter the fact through learning in my own time.

Attached: 10.jpg (606x897, 94K)

Love her mystified expression, suits her well. Always like the turtleneck uniform thing then I have a weakness for turtlenecks in general.

Ah, were they the sort of straight A student that is disproportionately good at everything to the extent where you wonder how they even have time for anything?

Sorry to hear that others avoid you, then our societies do tend to be more inward especially with social media, sure that you could brighten up many days even if its just with some one-off greeting or smile, it seems to work for some at least. What sort of albums do you like? I don't think I could follow a rec as good as yours with something though I'll do my best.

I just don't care what happens to me anymore. I doesn't matter if I graduate or get into a good career, it's just going to be the same grind as I have always been in till the day I die. I think I'll stop doing anything. That should kill the stress, at least. If it gets bad, I can always just kill myself.

>you incels want to rape woman
Not every single robot that can't get a woman dreams about raping one.
Recently I came to realize just how little things would change if I did get my dick wet. I no longer feel as depressed now that I accepted the harsh truth.

>Was wondering if there was a limit to your English skills
I'm probably not that good at speaking English. Three years ago my pronunciation was ok, but I haven't had the chance to speak English extensively since the last year of hs.
>Do you have an accent by the way?
I have a prominent Roman accent that probably makes me sound a bit rude to someone who's not used to.
>I watched the films so that I could gain better ground for 'The Chase'
Oh, I see. Will check out the show on Youtube.
Maybe one movie a day was too much, huh? I'll take into consideration your recommendations.
>Typically each film has its 'Bond girl'
That's what I was referring to. It's weird thinking about Bond being married when he's notorious for being surrounded by beautiful women.
>as it turns out a lot of the staff is new and the managers themselves appear quite inexperienced
That explains a lot. I hope that they will learn to their job quickly.
>were they the sort of straight A student that is disproportionately good at everything to the extent where you wonder how they even have time for anything?
Yeah, exactly. Me and a couple of classmates had good grades, but she was on another level and there was this one time she refused to come with the rest of the class to a restaurant because she wanted to study. Quite the quiet and shy, but that's a good thing in my book.
I really wish I had someone to talk to, even only for idle chat while waiting for lectures at uni. That's why I'm really thankful to you for being around.
>What sort of albums do you like?
Shoegaze, math rock, emo and screamo when it comes to rock music; breakcore and drum and bass for electronic. I don't dislike alt-rock and metal though.
>I don't think I could follow a rec as good as yours with something though I'll do my best.
Please, do.
I relate to what you said. What is the point of living on the pursuit of work and money?

Attached: cutedress.png (1000x1100, 900K)

Regardless of however you may perceive yourself, know that for one we care about you as do your family (even if it be on an unconditional basis). It may be a bitter pill to swallow that the 'daily grind' doesn't amount to that great a contribution for the average being in the long term though through collective benefit our future shall prosper and those succeeding us will have their foundations built on your effort whether they acknowledge the fact or not. Also in selecting one's poison that of inactivity is sure to have the more disastrous long-term consequences whence the emptiness starts to accumulate, we aren't made for stagnancy - even those who have it made for them have to create issues in their lives be it gambling their money away or taking excessive quantities of drugs to keep the internal void at bay. It seems moderation is key, do your best though if it is really starting to stab into you, try finding greater reason, seek alternatives or otherwise find another path in life that'll lead you not only to your goals though to setting a good example for society - contrary to what people might think we only live on candle-light.

Attached: 51.jpg (760x1000, 457K)

Thanks. Those are some fancy words. I suppose I'm just too selfish to see that as a reason to contribute. And it's not so much that what I do doesn't amount to anything as it is the fact that I'll live the same life if I fail as if I succeed. When that's the case, why not just accept failure? About consequences, I don't think I want a long term at all. From my perspective, my best option is to lay in this bed till I'm threatened with homelessness, and then hang myself.

I imagine your spoken English is better than you'd imagine though suppose you know best, it is a while to go after all. Can't imagine what a Roman accent sounds like, forgot Italy must have some unique dialects, always ride on the idea of other languages being standardized a la Russian. Don't know if you'll enjoy watching The Chase, its more British dad-humour interlaced with a game show than anything though it can get pretty interesting towards the final round. It does become a blur in watching things so much though all of the Bond films passed OHMSS followed the exact same layout so it was essentially a scene change but otherwise the exact same film each and every time.

The managers have been at the store for at least a year (I believe a couple have been there for three years) and while they are good at waitressing, only one takes the initiative to multi-task (and is by far the best manager, one must admit) while the other two don't learn - its what bugs me especially with the most senior constantly going to meetings and being trained further by staff from across the country yet only applying lessons on a 'flavour-of-the-week' basis rather than cementing it. Not to be horrible to them though it is becoming a bother.

Glad to hear you did well at school, its bizarre when you get people like that though, hope that you didn't feel somewhat belittled in your efforts at study as seems to be the case with those types. I guess its hard not to compare yourself to them at times. Know the feeling by the way, there's so little time nor opportunity to talk without others and have it not feel like an effort - always look forward to seeing your posts because of that, can talk to you about anything and always have a nice time. S-sorry if it sounds like I'm coming on a bit. Have to return the thanks as well, honestly it brightens the days up seeing you around.

Can't guarantee that you'll like it though would recommend the Replikas album 'Avaz'.

Attached: 13.png (200x200, 45K)

I don't deny the hollowness of some of those words, aside from the fact that we do care. Also all human beings are selfish, its not something to be ashamed of though one can be selfish and also seek to benefit others, a society or the nature that surrounds it. I understand what you mean in terms of living the same life though really there's nothing you can do about it aside from switch to something that you enjoy more perhaps or spend your free time differently, one could see it as the penalty for the comfort we have juxtaposed to prior generations. Still, through success less effort is usually required down the line - riding a strong mood for example and getting the bulk of preparation, work or stations closed down for example in advance can really make life easier later on especially not knowing how others are going to perform later on. Not only this though with success comes increasing motivation even if you are conscious of the fact and thus greater strength to reach for what may previously be seen as impossible - one's career can be a 'grind' though that doesn't mean the rest of their time has to result in such.

Do you think you are really capable of hanging yourself? If you are going to commit suicide it appears best to use multiple methods to assure death though you'd need research in doing so which would probably motivate you into some newfound pursuit or something. Do you need a hug or anything?

It really seems pointless to me, but I'm gonna let that sink in for a bit.

Yes, I think I could. When I say hanging I'm really referring to decapitation, which I think is pretty sure to kill me. I've put in quite a lot of research already. What stopped me from taking the last step out of the window last time was a hope of getting my only friend back, but that's gone, and when I hit the bottom I don't think anything will hold me back. And haha, no. If someone gave me a hug I'd just think they were making fun of me somehow.

>I imagine your spoken English is better than you'd imagine
It's probably at least understandable, since it happened that I was asked for infos by Indian guys at uni.
>Don't know if you'll enjoy watching The Chase
I just want to see what it looks like. I've never seen a foreign game show.
>all of the Bond films passed OHMSS followed the exact same layout
Same reason why I don't like watching superhero movies. I'll still try watching at least a couple of Bond movies.
>only one takes the initiative to multi-task while the other two don't learn
That ruins the balance of roles. Managers should do their best to not overcharge of work the other employees.
>hope that you didn't feel somewhat belittled in your efforts at study
I didn't but I wish I did. Maybe I would have put actual effort into studying if I did. My situation with uni probably wouldn't be as bad as it is right now.
>Have to return the thanks as well, honestly it brightens the days up seeing you around
Glad to see that I can be of use. Feeling useful is what keeps me alive.
>Can't guarantee that you'll like it though would recommend the Replikas album 'Avaz'
Will check it right after lunch.
You're probably going to work pretty soon, right? In that case, have a nice day.

Attached: thisremindsmeofplanetarian.jpg (1179x466, 123K)

gunjy can we be friends again i want to hear stories about the abbos

Well, you know best. Do you really think that low of yourself though? People wouldn't hug you to make fun of you but rather because you seem like you need one, perhaps part of you is aware of this fact but wishes to obscure it to service one's self-destructive conscious. You're worth more than you perceive.

Ah, if I recall doesn't Italy have quite a few Bangladeshis? Seem to remember reading an article on such and pondering how odd it seems - always imagine migrants there are from former colonies, do they generally speak only English + native language when they arrive then?

Its worth a go with the Bond films, the first two have more a rough-around-the-edges feel to them though they are still good films and Goldfinger is where the series starts to cement itself. You may enjoy it first though the campiness later on really does start to get grating, Moonraker is particularly bad in that aspect.

The managers are alright at assisting the waitress staff though they don't exactly "lead by example" as you'd hope, especially given the circumstances.

Do you feel like you needed a kick down to strengthen your resolve? Perhaps so though don't let this year go to waste as a means of proving the fact, you know your mistake and have the opportunity to improve in the circumstances such that they don't spiral out of control. It'll be fine even if things don't go alright at first, believe me.

Yep, got a shift at 12:30, going to go at 12:00. Usually turn up quite early so that extra prep can be done in case everything isn't set up, one of those things that when done doesn't amount to much but if foregone will pile up at the worst possible time.

>Feeling useful is what keeps me alive
Hey, you're always useful even if you feel like your life doesn't really matter. Always found this clip to be helpful for that kind of sentiment: youtube.com/watch?v=1igmzkmTv6U. Don't know if you watched The Simpsons though it has some armour-piercing scenes.

>if I recall doesn't Italy have quite a few Bangladeshis
Yeah, but I think that the ones at uni are proper Indians, as they're mostly into computer stuff.
>do they generally speak only English + native language when they arrive then?
Probably, but I never had the chance to talk with one of them for more than a few minutes at the bus stop.
>they don't exactly "lead by example" as you'd hope
They should tho. Expecting someone to do something by only explaining is like trying to do math exercises by only reading theory.
>Do you feel like you needed a kick down to strengthen your resolve?
Yeah, I needed that.
>you know your mistake and have the opportunity to improve in the circumstances such that they don't spiral out of control
The thing is, most people in uni know how to study properly or at least how to put effort into it, but I don't and that's not something easy to correct.
>It'll be fine even if things don't go alright at first, believe me
I really hope so, but I'm running short of time.
>Usually turn up quite early so that extra prep can be done in case everything isn't set up
Good planning makes everything easier. Well done.
>Hey, you're always useful even if you feel like your life doesn't really matter
Haven't been feeling like that lately. In hs I used to actively help my classmates with homework and study (yeah, I know that that sounds weird after what I said before, but I'm better at teaching than at studying), but in uni there's noone I can help and I can't find something to fill that void. I will check that video, even if I haven't watched the Simpsons as my brother always changed channel on the V when they started.

Lol, they just gave a James Bond movies marathon commercial on TV.

I'm glad you're going to change your ways, however you are still a social discord using normalfag so I must politely ask you to take your leave.

Got hit by flu on flu season, this sucks dick since i havent had a fever in half a year or so and im not used to having fevers this high.

hey fren, hope you're doing well, I've just been sitting around for the last week and dumping hours into guitar and I'm actually seeing progress for once so it feels good. I hope you have something you put your time into and enjoy too, stay comfy
