Jow Forums has been obscenely misogynistic ever since deletion eight years ago. If anything it's gotten less hostile towards women in the last four years, despite getting more hostile in general (this is because there are more normalfags, so misogyny has become less genuine resentment and more ceremony performed by morons trying to fit in).

Although the site has become less hostile now, people are still treating it as the big boogey man incel lair. Goes to show how the average IQ is only in 2 digits for most.

The entire website has really gone to shit since 2014. The 2016 election picked up a lot of the cultural threads started here and ran them even deeper into mainstream consciousness, and nearly half of OC became Pepe or Wojak related. Jow Forums and Jow Forums teamed up to kill /lit/, one of the last truly good boards on Jow Forums. Mods created Jow Forums, even making it a hidden board to escape pollution by the worst people here, but within minutes it was a /b/ tier irredeemable shithole.

The story of Jow Forums is almost always a story of decline, with a couple of boards getting overrun and watered down every year or so. Since 2014 it just seemed particularly dramatic.
