Space

Does anyone else really want to go to space I feel like this planet is slowly dying and it won't be here forever but even if I could just go to the ISS just once I would be so fulfilled but I don't think NASA would even let me I would have to do extensive training starting basically right now and I don't have money for college so I would have to join the Air Force so I could fly planes and get experience for when I'm on a spaceship and I would take the free college and study engineering of some kind and It's just unrealistic the only real option for me is saving up money for commercial space travel when those come to fruition if they ever do so I guess I'm making this thread to ask if any other anons know this feel and want to go to space but they know it isn't likely?

We would be in space routinely if surface to orbit was cheap

I know I wish there was a way of making it cheaper and I put I could save money for commercial flight but the truth is SpaceX would probably have to be regulated a ton and go through 18 million hoops just to get citizens to orbit and I probably wouldn't even have money for a commercial flight I heard tickets were going at 200,000 dollars which I don't have but they'll probably end up being way more expensive than that

hopefully we will see some breakthroughs in tech in our lifetime that makes it affordable for common people to go to space

Hopefully because right now the becoming an astronaut plan isn't really looking to bright

Likely the best way is economy of scale. You make a fuckload of cheap, reliable dumb rockets and you should slash the price. We're in the ford tri-motor era of spaceflight

Yeah but I don't really want to be flying in a rocket described as cheap

the human degeneracy doesnt deserve to go to space

Why do you think that user? And we have already been to space so it's not like the human degeneracy hasn't already been there

who gets to say who deserves what? the only prerequisite to deserve something that is not owned is being able to lay claim to it and hold it

i gets to say who deserves what. stay on your fucking planet you disgusting ape

That was a good one user how long did it take for you to come up with that one

Umm nah

If you get to decide it, why shoud we obey it? If you never want to leave thats on you

if you watch porn you dont deserve to go to space

If quitting porn means going to the ISS for just 6 months I'll quit porn forever

Space tourism definently looks to happening in our lifetimes. Even just a suborbital up and down, like what Blue Origin's doing, would be nice.

>200000
I thinks that's for oneway Mars trips?

>tfw no robot astronaut BF to creampie upon return home

>being the first to fap to traps in space

There will never be colonization of other planets, notice just how empty northern Eurasia and north America are despite plenty of opportunity for people to move there especially compared to overpopulated shitholes with 1+billion inhabitants. And then there's Antarctica, barren and extremely cold so there's no one other than research/fishing/military bases that have ever been there

Mars on the other hand as the best option is at its warmest just as cold as Antarctica, non breathable atmosphere, no water, ludicrously expensive to get there and it takes 7 months of being in a small can, and what would even be the gain compared to just robots?

I bet all the men that went in space sucked eachother off and took turns fucking their boipussy

I just want to get lost in space and die in the cold vacuum, alone, while gazing at the bright stars enveloped in darkness.

>what would even be the gain compared to just robots?
no niggers.

They played with each other's poo too.

No just checked according to the verge (the only source I could find in a quick google search) a trip around the moon and back would cost 175 million per seat Looks like were not going to the moon bois

That's a pretty based way to die user

Kinda me yes I'm studying aerospace engineering in college now and I know my lifes purpose is to build the vehicles that take us to mars.
Ive never actually been interested in being the astronaut myself tho I suppose it would be cool to go to space myself, I know my particular abilities are most suited to building the vehicles that take us there and I'm happy to help get humans to space best I can.
I definitely think the air Force is the best route to go, even if youre not chosen you could help others get there in some way.

Thanks for the advice user hopefully you can help me get to mars one day and if I don't make it as an astronaut maybe we can work together designing the vehicles that will take us there

Wrong wrong wrong when we colonize mars it'll be because of a great need for it, human population keeps going up, Earth is getting mega polluted, and we're definitely gonna run out of resources, most especially land and mars has tons of empty land. The issues with it's enviromement can be dealt with by developing terraforming technology, water can be synthesized from hydrogen and oxygen, and it's vitally important to deal with the issues of getting there now, to prevent downfall of the human race. It's our destiny to either die off or explore the stars and I definitely prefer the latter

Uh huh, I already cited how despite there being places that have exceeded one billion there are still great big empty places... Why is that?

And this magic "terraforming" tech will have applications on earth too

Also "explore the stars" I don't think you have any idea just how far away the nearest star is compared to the furthest planet in our solar system

i wanna be the first person to trip on acid in space

I suggest you watch this ted talk user in it the speaker gives multiple ways on how we could get to mars and live there in a few short years

It's still ludicrously more difficult and expensive than colonization of the poles or even the bottom of the ocean

There also would be zero profit, just a constant drain of resources, no one is gonna ship anything from Mars to earth. The only upside people keep saying is a species"backup"

Yes but what if the earth including the poles and the bottom of the ocean became unlivable at least the human race would have a chance of surviving if we had produced farms on Mars indoor or outdoor they may have a chance of living
Elon Musk literally wants to do it and people are obsessed with Elon Musk so even if Elon had exhausted all of his money into this I'm sure people would start crowdfunding and organizing resources to keep the humans on a distant planet millions of miles away alive (the strength of human empathy is amazing) you just don't agree man but I'm telling you this is the next step for humans this is the final frontier

Space is a red herring. Inter-dimensional travel and contact with aliens from other realms is where the real journey begins.

Why don't we do DMT on Mars while were at it

Attached: Pepe took to much DMT.gif (600x600, 1.96M)

I wonder if there's any ancient tech/ruins on Mars? There wouldn't be much on Earth because of erosion, but stuff on Mars could be in good condition for millions of years, as long as it's a bit below ground.

Could be but I doubt it but there was water on Mars at one point though so anything is possible this is another reason why we should be going there

Yes, of course, I grew up watching Star Trek after all

Maybe we can colonize the cosmos together user

I was abducted by ayys once, don't know if I was in space exactly, but closer than most people get I bet

No fucking way you did but if you did greentext please if you wouldn't mind

>they touched my boipussy

Did it feel good though or was it more forceful?

Sure why not
>be me
>lying on a cold hard surface
>oh shit this isn't my bed
>paralyzed can't move
>it's very dark with the exception of one bright ass light aimed down at me
>shadowy figures around me
>panic
>too scared to actually directly look at them
>this is definitely not my room
>feels too real to be a dream
>there's some telepathic communication type thing going on
>while the light was shining at me, some thing went into my eye
>they're asking me stuff relating to a specific event
>they're very angry with me
>I can feel them probing inside my head looking for something
>suddenly appear back in my room in an instant
>tell myself it was just a nightmare and try to forget it happened
>still upsets me when I think about it, sometimes relive it
I've had a lot of sleep paralysis experiences, including with monsters and they never leave a trauma because you intuitively know shit wasn't real afterwards, but this was something very different. I guess I'll never know for sure

i think i know you? initials?
