Car dealer salesman are just as sleazy as they've always been and will screw you over every way they can. You're best bet is taking your chances with private party sellers.

Don't buy a car from a black person.

Buy used. Anything japanese preferably Toyota. Go on a test drive and inspect the engine thoroughly. Check for mileage tampering

Check all fluid conditions (coolant, psf, oil, brake fluid, etc) and look for rust in wheel arches and on the underside. Inspect for leaks. Check spark plugs. Take a thorough test drive. If you're buying from a dealer then they most likely have all that stuff looked at that stuff and the car is in good standing. They won't let you take it apart but you can still take drive and inspect it. Also biggest tip:

Press ALL the buttons and turn ALL the knobs. You will not regret this.

Get mechanic to come with you, if can't
>engine must be dry and dusty (not washed b4)
>check all the switches, wipers, lights and radio and everything you can touch
>drive it slow, medium and after agressive
>check noises
>try to get it cheaper by pointing out defects

Read the /o/ sticky

Additionally do this
>youtube
>type "used (your car model and year) review"
>repeat the same in google
Different cars have different weak spots so it's best to check specifically for the one you are buying

tell them no down payment or no deal

Google common faults, ask about them
General maintenance soon,
For example look how often they need a timing chain or cam belt and ask when it was last done
If they don't know this stuff you should probably avoid buying it

Don't let the dealer drive it up to the front for you, go wherever they're keeping it in the lot and turn the keys yourself so you can make sure it starts on the first try

Feel under the front and rear bumpers. if they have a lot of scrapes, the previous owner was probably irresponsible with it

You don't have to pay for a vehicle history check, there's usually a thread on /o/ where someone will do VIN searches for you

If the dealer tries to bait and switch you in any way ("oh, we just sold that car, but how about this one?") don't buy from them

Don't forget to buy blinker fluid. You don't wanna miss it when you need it.

That automobiles are tools of the bourgeoisie to oppress members of the proletariat. Why? Peasants will be unable to afford city center dwellings and will be forced to live further and further away from jobs, markets, and gathering places. This means they will spend more time driving and more money on maintenance for their vehicle which creates a cycle of those with more money having more money and time while those less fortunate spending more and more as demand for housing increases.
This is why public transportation is key for the proletariat.
Thank you for reading and remember that only together can we overcome.

Starve and die, parasite

Here's a very simple and very safe advice if you have zero clue about cars:

- arrange test drive with car of interest
- make an appointment at a nearby garage shop that seems trustworthy to you (tell them you need a full examination of a car that day)
- drive the car there and let them check it
- consider their judgement into your decision

This is the best thing you can do, because they can check shit that is invisible to an amateur and the money you invest in that checkup is better than being sorry later on.

Keep defending your masters while you can barely afford your living space and food. They'll reward you one day.

Japanese cars are overpriced, and their owners are usually retarded. Get a used Buick, as they tend to have low mileage and boomers actually take care of their cars.

if a car blows smoke or is leaking oil dont buy it

Rather have a shit condition Japanese car than a pristine Buick.

American cars are dog shit

same dude, I'd take a mitsubishi starion over a plymouth conquest any day of the week

get a muscle car, build a rat rod or get a Jeep CJ if you want to get laid.

dont buy a used sport car ever.
dont buy ricer trash ever,
dont buy anything by chrystler/dodge/jeep
