For my personal experience it's more related with authoritarianism, liberal right wing usually just call anything they don't like socialism, make communism s hunger jokes and ask to "prove" things.

I think the reason is that the default social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter etc are all left wing due to censorship / algorithms. These platforms due encourage surface level commentary rather than deep conversation (for example with short comment and tweet lengths). As a result leftists are way less likely to have their views deeply challenged in a conversation and are uncomfortable in deep discussions. If someone uncomfortable and feels intellectually challenged, they resort to ad hominem (this is not just true with leftists, even on Jow Forums if someone has their view throughly rebuked they always start throwing insults). Since right wingers have been pushed to 'free speech' uncensored websites, they have their views challenged far more regularly and as a result are far more used to / comfortable with deep discussions and don't need to devolve to insults.

Things like honor or integrity are held in high regard because of how rare it actually is. Any system that makes you happy is just as susceptible or even more so to the same faults or worse.
