Yes, please share some info about the food and stuff along with the pictures.
This is some food I got at the premium lounge at the taipei airport.
I got free lounge access through a credit card
This was the meal I posted in the OP picture. I got this in osaka. It costed 1300 yen which is roughly 12 usd. It's a fried steak where the outside is crunchy and the inside is rare. They give you a little stovetop to further cook it if you arent into rare meat
Here are some extremely fluffy pancakes I got. 3 pancakes for about 8 dollars
Here is some ramen from a chain called ippudo. It was 8 bucks. I think this chain has locations in the US
post more OP. they look delish
This isnt a great picture but this is an okonomiyaki, a savory pancake type dish with meat and cabbage
Heres a bunch of really expensive seafood. I ate a big shrimp... it was okay
What's the spiraly thing?
It's a fishcake, I think it's called a naruto
This is from ichiran, another ramen place
and that's where Naruto gets naruto from
oh
oh shit is that why he has a spiral thing on his headband? what the fuck
Yeah I think so
This is some takoyaki from some place in osaka
This was in nara. Theres hundreds of deer just roaming the streets. They arent afraid of people and are pretty aggressive if you have food. Some of them are nice and will come to you and bow.
Heres some sushi and tempura at a izakaya. It was okay.
This is a matcha ice cream parfait. It was pretty good
Heres a little town in taiwan that's supposed to look like the village in spirited away. Rainy and full of tourists though
wtf i bet they charged you ten vucks for this sit
i went to nara myself my last trip to japan it was pretty rad
I really do miss the food from when I lived in Japan. They take such pride in the food they make. I was spoiled. Hope you had fun, OP.
It was pretty big, cant tell from the angle, but yeah it was 11 bucks. There were a lot of interesting matcha based ingredients (ice cream, three types of jelly, matcha dumplings, matcha whipped cream, matcha bread, etc). It was a nice treat
Here is some expensive kobe beef. It tasted pretty good but I got diarrhea after. I dont know if it's because of the fat content or because the meat was bad, it didnt taste like it was bad meat
Heres an oyster and a sea urchin.... I didnt eat this it looked fucking disgusting to me
Was it rare? Maybe you had food poisoning
My favorite restaurant, yoshinoya
No i cooked it pretty thoroughly.. who knows
Heres some girl eating a melon pan
It has a nice foggy look
Heres a fancy complimentary breakfast at a traditional style hotel in kyoto
Dinner from the same hotel... there were like 6 more courses after this.
What was in the leaf bag?
I think it was some gluttonous rice thing. It was not very memorable
Heres some sushi in taiwan
Heres some fried cuttlefish. They are inch sized cubes
Wow you must be rich oreigig
Other than the kobe beef most of these meals were pretty cheap. Like 3 to 15 dollars a person
Heres a picture I took of some fuccboi standing in line in front of me. I bet this backpack costs over a thousand bucks simply due to the stupid brand name
More fluffy pancakes... look at how fucking fat they are! It's from a shop called "a happy pancake"
Thats supreme but unless its some kind of special edition
It probably costs 200-500$
are they filled or just bigger?
A big peice of fried chicken. It must have weighed over a pound. This was 3 bucks
Is that spicy? what kind of meat is it?
No they are just extremely fluffy and airy. Almost like a souffle. The weight of a metal fork is almost enough to cut into it.
I thought they were more. Anyways this guy was a 5'5 manlet decked out in Louis Vuitton shit (like a lv phone case, wallet, shoes). I dont understand why people pay so much money just to look like a fool. He looked like he was probably 25 years old or younger so I doubt he made any of that money himself.
Its breast meat. I think they filet it and roll it out so its half the thickness but twice the area. It's not actually spicy, despite what the name of "hot star" would suggest.
Heres a bamboo forest in kyoto. It was pretty cool I guess
Must been a rich kid anyways what was the best food you had there or whats your top five best food?
I ate a lot of stuff before I took pictures. Anyways I went to Taiwan and the kansai are of japan. Top 5 would be
1) pork belly over rice in Taiwan
2) both ramen places in japan
3) the fried steak (op picture)
4) the kobe beef that might have given me diarrhea
5) the fluffy pancake with a lot of toppings
I bet you had a nice time. Threads like these are comfy
thanks op
