I know that feeling mate, just let them know they're acting like assholes(preferably in polite demeanor), if they get uppity, ignore them, they don't deserve anything from you beyond that.
Also had a girl that was REALLY into me, she was a loud mouth, braggy, and rude (I was a loud fucker, but I tried not to brag, at least not with pride) and even my friends disliked her.

I actually don't know about Poland's military, or about joining, but if things get heated to the point when Poland is at war(or nearing that point), or if I have no better solution then almost certainly I will.
And if you ever have children while in the Marines, just know they won't have the normal civilian world experience, usually meaning no childhood friends, no dad on Christmas because he's fighting the good fight.
And unless you teach them to hate the military, then they'll most certainly look up to you, or at least your military achievement
