The capitalist system we live in has failed us...

The capitalist system we live in has failed us. We are now at the point where 26 people own as much as the bottom half of the human population. There is no amount of "hard work" which one man can do to own that much, thus the uber-rich are leeching off the work of less fortunate men and women.

Lads, it's time for communism.

The bigger problem is inherent human rights.
Some groups of humans just need to be obliterated entirely.

This. Jow Forums posters in particular.

BETTER

THAN
RED

Get the fuck out of here you filthy commie fuck.

I can get behind that. The fact remains the far right are completely and utterly wrong about what's going to protect the human race, and a portion won't ever be reasoned with.

>filthy commie fuck
As opposed to the peak of capitalism, this fucking alpha god here?

Not every country has an autistic population, gtfo.

Guess again. Right about that though, it's just the fact too many people are too used to the system we live in, and the fact communism has been portrayed as demonic for a while now.

BETTER KOSHER THAN RED*
Fixed that for you.

i know its all tongue in cheek but when i see boomers posting this on youtube and stuff i feel so goddamn depressed

Glad I'm not the only one, holy shit. McCarthy did a number on public perception of all this with his little slogans.

I find communism deeply unethical, but I mainly express it in a "meme" way.
Sure, pure_capitalism.exe is not the best, but pure communism is definitely not any better.

Finding a middle ground is, as usual, the best solution.
And there's plenty of differently setup economic&societal structures in the world.

I've seen a lot of people express this opinion, and in some ways I can see why. However to me leaving even the smallest amount of wriggle room means there are people who will take advantage, which is what has happened today.

To me, communism is the only viable way to stop people from getting the upper hand at the expense of others, because there will always be that person who tries if given the opportunity. Things like a heavy inheritance tax on wealth and straight money means it can't be built up, and systems like public ownership and citizen's dividend mean people actually benefit properly from the world's resources.

But OP, I like buying guns

The people who get rich aren't the ones who work hard they're the ones who work smart. You could work 80 hours per week for your entire working career but if you're working as a burger flipper or a shelf stocker you're still gonna poor and really I have no problem with that.

Don't commies like guns because they're revolutionaries

You can still have guns, user.

That may be so, and I should have phrased what I said a little better. But the people who did work smart way back when created the bourgeoisie, many of which just inherited.

This snowballs, since the rich today have access to superior education, contacts, and just plain resources. Smart as someone from a poorer background can be, they're at an inherent disadvantage as the system intended.

Yeah, but also nothing about communism is anti-gun. I personally disagree with it because I think a lot of people own them for the wrong reasons, but I respect the people who own them for the right ones and aren't cunts about it.

If someone delays certain life milestones like getting married or starting a family so that they can found a business that generates wealth and prosperity for its employees and value for its customers, why should the owner be told that they aren't allowed to give their family advantages in life? If someone decides to have three children when they work at a Wal-Mart and live in a 1 bedroom apartment, why should someone else have to pay to send their kids to school? My biggest problem with more socialized forms of economic management stems from the fact that the more you try and redistribute wealth, the more you wind up subsidizing bad behavior and decision making.

>no amount of "hard work" which one man can do to own that much, thus the uber-rich are leeching

In what universe is that a conclusion?

Communism is trash and so is unrestrained capitalism

Still it is much better when 26 people own as much as half of the world than when nobody owns anything and everybody dies of starvation due to inherit flaws of communism. Only equality achieved so far was being equally poor so I'll take a capitalist ride even if I'll never reach the top of pyramid.

I've been asked this before, and credit where it's due user, good question. The best way to look at this is the Wal-Mart family won't be taking anything off the other family, since they'll be a lot closer to each other economically. Shitty apartments will be demolished as much as vast mansions will, and people's quality of life will be overall better, an d equal since there'd be a massive flow of cash from redistributing the wealth on the rich list.

Factor in the inevitable massive increase on spending on education and infrastructure, shitty Wal-Mart man will largely be phased out. With the knowledge he is better off, and has more freedom to grow, a man like that wouldn't be so lazy.

desu communism/socialism would have more support if it wasn't called communism and didn't use the old terms because that's whats deterring most people with the stigma

It simply has no fucking point, rebranding shit as manure will not make me pile it on my plate.

I'm pretty fond of capitalism.
