Right around the time that the "Elizabeth R signs Op Heel Stone" (heel strike maybe?) meme popped up, I started getting pain in both of my feet. My right heel became very sore, and is still sore to this day, though it is not as bad as it was. On my left foot, pic related, I noticed the exact same crescent moon fold on the callus centered on a blood spot that OP has, but my spot was much smaller. After that, in my left foot, I started getting electrical sensations at four different places (red dots, one further down, out of frame) in my left foot. Now I am only getting the sensation on the center that is out frame, but it zaps me several times a day, and I don't like it at all. My picture's resolution is too low, but I had that exact same exceptional callus element, also centered on the blood, that OP has.

Reminds me of a big ugly blister I got on my big toe years ago. Now I have a callus caused by flat foot. If you have a flat foot, too, you should go to a chiropodist to have the toe fixed and get some insoles. If you don't have flat foot, keep the toe clean and go see a doctor just in case it's infected.
