Learning the occult symbolism, numerology and astrology changes the way you see things. It can be maddening and enlightening at times. I don't recommend practicing rituals, because it opens up gateways for demons to get in, even if you have good intentions. Black magic is powerful. Take Damien Echols for example. Lets take political ideologies. An ideology like communism or Jow Forums favorite national socialism only exists on paper until they are collectively willed into existance by enough people. I disagree, user. I've had great transcendence with LSD. LSD is very easy to control. I can use the experience in accordance with my will. When meditating upon the experience (even at low doses) I can remove the filter of reality and experience it in its truth (so far as I can tell). I become the observer (Atman) and experience this reality in its ultimate unfolding.
