Add brown sugar and some berries or a banana.

>supposed to taste like nothing
Yes

Yeah or raisins + milk + a banana

Add a scoop of honey and dont be a bitch.Youre suppose to eat food to fuel your body you fucking hedonist

add honey, banana, some sunflower seeds

you are supposed to add your own fruits/honey/seeds/flavour you retard

Put 2 scoops of whey in it, some ground cinnamon, and maybe some berries if you aren't a carbophobe.

I unironically look forward to my bowl of oats after my morning shower

>brown sugar
enjoy your diabetes and empty calories

Oatmeal is unironically delicious, especially if you add a pinch of salt while cooking and throw a teaspoon of butter on top when it's done.

water + unflavored oats is the best oatmeal.
if you need anything else you're probably a porn addict dopamine junkie who needs sugar+rick and morty on everything

there's no point in eating it with sugar, if he's gonna eat simple carbs he might as well eat cereal

whats wrong ? just sprinkle some salt if you want some taste

You are supposed to add things like peanut butter a bananas, milk, berries, and honey

I cook mine with peanut butter

I do the cold oatmeal method. Take steel cut oats, put in chocolate almond milk, walnuts, cranberries and coconuts. It isn't great but it is passable. Healthy as all get out.

enjoy your flavorless goopy gruel

Quick/rolled oats are nasty but can be made palatable with milk, honey, cinnamon, and salt
Steel cut oats take longer but literally all they need is salt and maybe cinnamon, and they actually taste good rather than just palatable; the difference is like night and day

Who gives a shit about it being flavorless if you hit your macros.

Yep, cringed and said “yikes” out loud.

Even if sugar did cause diabetes (it doesn’t) a single spoon in the morning wouldn’t be enough.

There’s more to life than just macros user.

I put some almonds with them, the texture difference makes it better.

And that "more" is determined by sugar in your food.

>Sugar doesn't cause diabetes
Literal sugarbrain.

>OY VEY goy, so little sugar in your food, come on, be a good goy, just a few more spoons of sugar, yeeeess, yeeeeesss, a shekel for a good goy

Lol eat sugar who cares you won't die and if you get diabetes from eating a spoon of sugar a day then blame your shitty genetics

I eat my oats with whey and water, fucking water.
2 scoops oats, 1 scoop whey, 400ml water.
ama.

Are you the one who makes the "Daily reminder to drink more water BUDDEH" threads?

nah

Do you ever get tired of water? What's your favorite kind of water?

I put a lot of stevia into my water/whey/oats shake. Otherwise it would LITERALLY and I mean literally taste like dog doodoo

Agave nectar or berries and fruits. Throw in a scoop of protein also. Oatmeal is damn delicious

Tap water or bottled water?

youtube.com/watch?v=ovtDwNdxCZI

Isnt that too much water? How long does it take you to cook them?
I dont add much because It makes me want to puke when its not relatively dry

tap water.
Iam from germany/bavaria. The tap water here is actually good quality.

c-cook?
I fucking just add tap water, whey and oats into a shaker and ex it. thats my breakfast, currently cutting. would add milk and probably a third scoop of oats if it was a bulk

Fatties with diabeetus pound sugar 24/7. A normie fit bro adding a sprinkle of brown sugar on their oatmeal or a spoon in a cup of coffee is objectively not the same as some lard ass having multiple cokes and starbucks shit and candy and cookies and ketchup on everything all day

What? You're not supposed to eat oats unprepared, it's bad for you, it fucks up nutrient intake in your intestines. You're supposed to either leave it overnight in water or something, or cook it, so that the outer shell is removed.

Your only source of sugar should be fruits, they're the equivalent of having sex.
Every other sweetened garbage is basically worse than masturbation.
>J-just once a day bro
No, have sex.

bullshit, its fine.

No, it's not

It's too hot to eat hot oatmeal in the summer so I soak mind overnight in Greek yogurt and a bit of milk (I tried once with just yogurt and the texture was disgusting, add milk and its good. Should have the consistency of a bowl of cereal with extra milk when you put it in the fridge) and then in the morning you can add fruit, peanut butter, sweetener, etc on top

The (((chosen))) tribe trying to shill unhealthy shit again.

The phytic acid in oats is what impairs nutrient uptake and preparation reduces the quantity of phytic acid. The thing though?

Phytic acid reduces the incidences of cancer. 600,000 people in the US die each year from cancer as opposed to little more than a hundred who die from nutritional deficiency.

Nice broscience

>after accounting for obesity
This study was flawed from the start. Obesity causes Diabetes and Sugar consumption is directly related to obesity. It would be like eliminated obesity and then going off of smell since obese people smell like shit.

Any of you guys has oatmeal as a late night snack?

>I know better than your universities, goyim. Hush now, eat your sugar.

Universities hire humans and I'm a human.
Only someone with low self esteem or low intellect gives absolute authority to a study they haven't even looked at.
Articles can claim that a study comes to any conclusion they want.
>Each 150 kilocalorie/person/day increase in total calorie availability related to a 0.1% rise in diabetes prevalence (not significant), whereas a 150 kilocalories/person/day rise in sugar availability (one 12 oz. can of soft drink) was associated with a 1.1% rise in diabetes prevalence (95% CI: 0.48–1.7%; p

Try harder, Schlomo.

>hey here is a website
>did it disprove you?
>ah shit I didn't read it either and have no clue what my argument is

>Goy believe me, high blood sugar, insulin resistance and type-2 diabetes are totally unrelated, I assure you.

>insulin resistance
>not the same as diabetes
Describing what diabetes is isn't the same as finding what causes it.
Sickle cell isn't causes by ingesting sickle shaped blood cells retard.
Cancer isn't caused by ingesting cancer cells.
Your body losing control of it's hormone system isn't caused by sugar just because that's what it manages. Only a retard would think that it would take decades to check if that's the cause.

>retard
>retard
Ok Chaim, big arguments here. Still denying the pretty obvious connection between sugar consumption and the causes of diabetes though.

Hey random nigger here
Type-2 diabetes is more often caused by being a fat fucking pig than anything else so he's merely remarking on the fact that these fat fucking pigs have a ton of fat around their organs from constantly keeping their insulin safely around maximum levels causing their organs making them less efficient also chronically high insulin also lends to insulin resistance

You mean obesity?
The thing that stretches your bodies ability to complete homeostasis?
It would be so wild if obesity caused the body to slowly shut down.
If only there were studies on the health impacts of obesity.

add honey

I ate oatmeal over couple of years and my head ached like a bitch.

damn i fucked it

I thought this too but the Japs with Diabetes have a much lower BMI than Amerilards.
Very interdasting, would love for them to come out with date of Visceral Fat levels versus Subcutaneous which is what you're describing

There are some major evolutionary and lifestyle differences between asian and whites that'd probably lead to this being a thing

It's intramuscular fat user.

That's too big of a cultural shift to identify.
Fat people in japan are extremely common especially in the older ages but "obesity" rates are low.
The way they record BMI would need to be inspected to make sure that they aren't over relying on tape measures.
As most people know tape measure results tend to under represent short people and over represent tall people. Most asian countries have low "obesity" but they also have a way shorter average height.
