Just imagine she hides all your protein and will only tell you were it is after an intense baby making season.

Bro science (that originates from high profile roiders claiming a high protein diet when asked how they got so big).

We only absorb a limited amount at a time (about 20-25g), the rest is pissed out.

It's based on this study here: bjsm.bmj.com/content/52/6/376

It's bro science, based on retards not knowing how to read and extrapolate stuff from a study.

Bro same

Supremely based trips

It's actual science.

Way more than just this. Once you focus on only resistance-trainef individuals you're looking at 1g/lb. Beyond 1g/lb (1.5g/lb+) you see further improvements in body composition (reduced bodyfat) etc.

Assuming you keep your calories constant, no reason not to hit at least 1g/lb. If you're cutting, 1.5g/lb+ is probably appropriate

why would the person who determined 1g/pound mix metric and imperial units?

mennohenselmans.com/the-myth-of-1glb-optimal-protein-intake-for-bodybuilders/

over 20 studies that disprove that myth

can u link one that 1g/1lb to be accurate

I'm type 1 diabetic, and protein effects blood sugar, so I've had to diligently dial this in for my diabetes but I also tried to figure out what worked for muscle without spiking my blood sugar too much.

I landed on 1g per lb of LBM, no more than 60g in a meal to avoid hyperglycemia. I'm 5'7 manlet spearman, 178lbs and 12% bf. Take from that what you will!

Absolute max is .7g/lb of LEAN body mass. Eat real food. Don't let the protein Jew take your money

I've heard that it's anywhere from .5-1.5 g/lb. Also heard that it's 1g/lean body mass which makes more sense. Honestly, who the fuck knows at this point?

Also storytime
>Have jungle fever
>Brother allegedly dating black chick so he also has it
>Sister finds out and tells that
>Sister in literal tears and keeps saying that brother is "dating a monkey"
>Dad says that he'll disown all of us if we date one
Never gonna get a black gf now

Im only attracted to black girls ever after I dropped below 13% bf.

Broscience absolutely. I just aim every day to get somewhere over 100g of protein and i am 205lbs and I am making optimal gains/good progress on my lifts. I don’t bulk or cut either which is also broscience and not useful unless you are a top % tier lifter, just maintenance.

>Needs daddy's permission for a gf

lmao be a man you fukken loser

Depends on how much you work out.. if you work out intensely every day (not long) you might want to go towards the 2 grams

But I don't believe you work intensely enough for such amount (top tier athlete).
therefore for you it would be a lot less:
1.4 or 1.6 grams for each kg

Also
Saying that you can't digest more than 25 grams a meal is plain wrong a trained person has been shown to digest even 60 grams at one sitting.

Are you like 16 and live at home? Who cares.

Nigga date whoever the fuck you want ignore your family and second is your family actually that deeply prejudiced? Fuck is wrong with your sister

0.8g/lb body weight. More than that just plateaus and you're wasting money and protein.

its a guideline thats estimated to be a huge overkill so if you hit that amount youre guaranteed to have enough protein

You don't need that much to build muscle optimally.

HOWEVER, eating more protein means you're eating less carbs and fats, which is generally good. Most bodybuilding and athletic meal plans have you getting at least 1/3 of your calories from protein, which is more than you actually need to build muscle. But if you subbed that extra chicken breast or salmon out for pasta or a muffin, you would get fatter. And if you subbed it out for more vegetables you would become gay.
