Anti-Inflammatory Diet

I have constant nasal /sinus inflammation and it's fucking my sleep, making me feel groggy. How do I fix this? Preferably with diet?

I have the same problem and was told to reduce carbs. Gonna start tomorrow actually.

take curcumin and black pepper grounds together
has been shown to be as effective at treating inflammation as cortisone injections

Not one thotposter has posted their own body
Weird right

AHHHH FUCK, IM GONNNNNA COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHUUHHHHUHHUHUUUUUUUH

1. go carnivore for a month
2. after that add food back in and see which ones you react too
3. stop eating what ever you react too

If you’re using any sort of nasal spray, I would stop. It makes symptoms worse and the body can get addicted to it. Not in like a mental way like “I NEED A HIT” but your sinuses will not feel better unless you use it.

healthline.com/nutrition/plant-based-diet-guide

got a link?

what does my body have to do with this? Want me to post my fucking nostrils?

honestly I never feel the best when I eat a lot of grains, but I'm not certain that's it. Also don't know if I can afford carnivory, especially when I'm bulking.

what about asprin?

>Also don't know if I can afford carnivory, especially when I'm bulking
Then go on a cut for a month.

this says nothing about inflammation.

Based.
I was in the best health of my life when I was eating ONLY chicken, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

yeah reduce carbs, take 1g EPA/DHA, curcumin, 200mg caffeine + l-theanine , eat 4-5 eggs a day, a little green tea, some cacao too.

do some cardio or HIIT as well.

aSPrin is fine as in the pain pill (dont take it often you will yeet your kidneys and you have no reason to take it because its a painkiller, not a decongestant)

aFrin as in the nasal decongestant should only be taken 3 days in a row MAX, stop taking it, you will feel like utter shit for like a week then it will clear up, same for any inhaled/sprayed decongestant as says

get started on allergy medicine, go to a doc, dont get memed into doing a meme diet because it wont do shit.

Carnivore, fermented dairy, eggs, oils, veg, and fruit. I'd be very suprised if any of those cause you inflammation

red meat and dairy causes inflammation

Eat a fuck load of ginger every day and I guarantee you’ll see results

Attached: 7Nz9bkP.jpg (800x470, 39K)

>get started on allergy medicine, go to a doc, dont get memed into doing a meme diet because it wont do shit.
what? And just stay constantly medicated/doped? That's still not addressing the root cause of the issue, I would like to avoid this cliche American health care practice.

>nasal inflammation too much histamine
>how do i reduce my histamine levels?
>dont take antihistamines it might be THE BREAD that this momscience article told me causes EVIL INFLAMMATION bro not an allergy to the mold/cedar/pollen in the air

fuck off and give me pubmed sources for all of your bullshit "le holistic the body is not a machine" pseudoscience

also all (modern) allergy medications have zero side effects in the vast majority of people, unlike the old medications which may cause drowsiness.

modern shit like cetirizine literally only helps you

>not an allergy to the mold/cedar/pollen in the air
it's year around

>fuck off and give me pubmed sources for all of your bullshit "le holistic the body is not a machine" pseudoscience
"just throw meds at it bro, lifestyle factors couldn't affect your health at all"

This helped me as well as using a humidifier if you're in a dry climate. I eat alot of carbs rn but its humid where I live in summer and I havent had the issue.

What an ugly whore, I wanna bash her head against the ground

im saying that your diet is likely not your issue, as we are on Jow Forums, you probably have a diet that is orders of magnitude better than the majority of America which do not have your problem, and unless you SUDDENLY DEVELOPED some weird autoimmune disease like everyone who writes these bullshit "le holistic just eat nothing but plants/nothing but meat" articles, its most likely not your issue

your problem is that you have nasal inflammation, there are too many causes of this VERY GENERAL PROBLEM to bother sussing out the root cause, it could literally be anything, even fucking cancer for all we know, so just TREAT YOUR FUCKING SYMPTOMS RETARD

Attached: thecoomer.jpg (427x631, 75K)

ok but what's the point of meds if it doesn't solve my problems just dissipate for a short period then return?

Sometimes it really is just as simple as cutting out a trigger food though, so stop being a faggot

>its meat
>its plants
>its sugar
>its animal proteins
>its whey
>its s o y
>its dairy
>its bread
>its fucking air

which one mommy, what special diet does he need because he is a special boy?

whats the point of a diet if it doesnt solve your problems and youve been memed into autistically denying yourself food?

even if it is one of the items on the long and conflicting list of trigger foods, its not "curing" yourself, its just a roundabout form of treating your issue, which is exactly the same as TAKING A TINY ASS PILL ONCE A DAY WHICH PRODUCES THE SAME RESULT

>it could even be cancer, so instead of finding out what it is and solving it just take this pill that deals with the symptoms
wow, top tier health advice from (you)rs truly

I used to have 2 or 3 sinus infections during winter and fall. Finally saw an ent and they did a ct scan of my head. I had a bone spur in the left nasal cavity. Had it removed and maybe have had 2 sinus infections in 7 years since then. Might want to get it checked, you shouldn't be that stuff from a diet alone.

>your problem isn't that you got shot and you shouldnt avoid getting shot, you should just wear this kevlar vest and helmet wherever you go.

you know what you can do to figure it out?

you can do what i told you to do earlier

you can

go

to

a

doctor

do that instead of finding broscience advice from a bunch of meatheads on a Manchurian basket weaving forum who think their meme diet will cure and treat everything

false equivalence nigger, taking a pill which has ZERO SIDE EFFECTS is nothing like wearing a stuffy vest and helmet all day

The most anti inflammatory is just eating meat and water. Nobody is allergic to meat. LoL

>turns u vegan in one bite

Attached: lone star tick.jpg (1008x672, 84K)

Most of you dont have to deal with this, but I cured my IBS (chronic inflammation) by unironically using keto and eating a fuck ton of meat. Idk if that speaks for other forms of inflammation, but damn do I feel good

your pooper is not your nose, not even remotely related inflammation wise

nigger

Wrong but thanks for trying babe

We’re not talking about coffee tho

Thanks Juden Peterstein

based

fucking based

bromelain as a supplement.

Zyrtec

Take N-Acetylcysteine it completely clears up my nose.

adding to this. OP has seasonal allergies. Everyone in this through spouting bullshit "HURR DURRRR GO CARNIVORE DIET" or "EAT LESS CARBS" or "CURCURMIN, BLACK PEPPER AND L-THEANINE" you're all literally 100% completely fucking retards.

There are dozens of OTC medications for allergies and they're all proven to work. Have you fuckers never walked into a CVS before?

Wtf is the story behind your pic?
I always see it but don't know why it's a meme. Is it from like a blacked porno or something?

First, go to a doctor and get bloodwork.

In the meantime, no nuts, no seed oils, no PUFA, no HFCS. If you get "gassy" with any foods, don't eat those either as that's inflammation. Those should be standard exclusions for all lifters but hey. Switch to primarily ruminant (lamb, cow, bison, elk) meat.

wrong

Fuck off with your mass quoting and contribute something worthwhile

>avoiding well established inflammatory foods and going to a doctor to gain accurate diagnosis is wrong

OK retard

No more spicy food!
Nothing you are allergic too!

my ex gf used to tie my shoes whenever we were out and about and she noticed they were loose

fucking idiot

Shut up

I've had runny nose with constant sneezing my whole life until recently when i discovered the cause; fungus spores. My bedroom has no windows and is humid allowing fungus to grow and contaminate the air with spores making me have allergic reactions
Solved it by getting a dehumidifier

unironically paleo
>cut grains
>cut sugar
>cut dairy (for the sinus this is key)
>cut legumes
>reduce vegetable seed oils
>add Omega 3 rich foods
>more avocados
>add turmeric + black pepper
>add ginger
>cut out hard cardio, or reduce to 1 or 2 days a week
>walk more
>yoga
>breathing exercises
>reduce light at night

sleep like a king, feel like a king. Oh, also
>sleep on your side, not on your back or belly

check for mold in your apartment, dingus

Trying this starting tomorrow

It hits the average 4channer hard as he will never experience >tfw

I just read Jordanetics. Dont you ever @ me again kike faggot

I've been carnivore for about a month and a half, with some dairy in the form of cream, kefir, yogurt, butter

Feels awesome. Satiated, great digestion, no noticeable inflammation, sleeping well and waking up with energy.

A big thing for me is I've had cystic acne ever since I've been going through puberty, and since only eating meat, it has gone down SO much. You don't know what kind of relief it is to not have a big fucking cyst on my back/shoulders nearly every week.

1. get an air purifier, run it when you sleep if it's quiet, or run it before you sleep and before you enter the room if it's loud.
2. if you are poorfag, get a standard box fan and put a 20x20 air filter on the back of it...total cost is about $20-25. this is also loud so use tips above.
3. cut out sugar, because it feeds the bad bacteria in your nose/throat. if you must have sweets then get it front fruit, honey.
4. cut out all wheat products, including oats, and beer
5. if you must drink milk, drink raw milk, it's 2X more expensive though and harder to find
6. reduce water intake, because too much water creates the watery-type of stuffy/runny nose.
7. to stay hydrated, drink juiced fruits and water-dense veg like cucumbers, celery

i bought into the juicing meme recently and feel pretty good...juicing the above 2 plus carrots, apples, oranges. nothing "exotic". it's pretty easy. what sv3rige said about juicing has worked for me, but i don't follow his stance on salt, so i still get a little thirsty throughout the day due to my salt usage.

i did all of the above and improved my stuffed nose issues. the biggest are wheat and sugar, which will fuck your shit up no matter what your ethnicity is. also cut out rice, which your body converts to sugar anyway. if you must have carbs, then by now you know potatoes are ok.

agree with all except avocado, turmeric, ginger. too much avocado will fuck your shit up (look up "avocado negative effects")....turm & ginger will kill good bacteria in your gut. should only be used in extreme cases if you have some serious stomach flu, food poisoning, etc. i feel slightly better with turmeric but be careful, use small dose. for a lighter alternative to turm/ging, try citrus...a standard juicer can juice the skin of lemons and oranges. you get a very minty result.

and if anons sleep on side, look into getting body pillow or put pillow between legs. this is ideal for spine alignment.

> turm & ginger will kill good bacteria in your gut.
Source?

You should try the autoimmunity protocol, fixed a lot of problems for me. It was like I was getting proper fuel for my body for the first time in my life, becareful with calories though it's really easy to lose weight in such a restrictive diet user. But it does wonders, try it.

Attached: 1322796219001.png (500x382, 57K)

in all likelyhood it's probably just a slight allergy. I wouldn't go full carnivore for a month, that's just stupid and expensive for no reason.

Eliminate common allergens. I would start with dairy - it causes excess mucus production in a lot of people. Even whey does this to me. Do one at a time for a week or so. If it is dairy, it should clear up pretty quickly though, the moment I drink whey it comes back. I still drink whey because need them gains and vegan shakes are awful.

You might also feel groggy because of a caffeine addiction in the mornings.

>Gone cold, I'm wondering why I
>Got out of bed at all

Attached: 1536554438229.png (496x384, 223K)

>go on low carb/keto, avoid simple carbs like bread and pasta
>no alcohol/smoking
>probiotics
>take l-glutamine as a supplement

I've been dealing with that shit for years, trust me OP. This is the way to go

I have a dust mite allergy apparently. Had a blood test for something else and I have dust mite antibodies.

I can't really get away from them (too lazy to wash all my bedding every week + all the extra shit), so I'm just stuffed up constantly.

>Cunt punts her
*Teehee*

Try keto/carnivorous.

Start by removing all cow milk products from your diet. And do note the cow milk part, nothing wrong with some goat or sheep milk for me personally.

Too much dairy can cause mucous production. Try lactose free products or reduce the amount of dairy in your diet.

Unfermented dairy in general fucks with most peoples digestive system, fernented stuff is fine

I'll sleep on my back all I want

I had the same thing and my doctor send to to get an allergy test by taking my blood. Turns out I had severe dust mite allergy. The spray they give you helps a lot.

I would try to fix the inflammation before putting the body under unnecessary stress by working out. Try ibuprofen, if it doesn't work try antibiotics. Btw there's somebody called a doctor who you could talk to.

6 months ago I would have agreed with you, but every time that I eat gluten or a really grain heavy meal, my sinuses as well as my IBS go out of control.

OTC medication doesn't work for me. Dietary changes do. I can't explain it, but I've been trying for several years and it's what works.

My guy. This is how it's done.

I went to the doctor to do an allergy exam, and found out that i am allergic to Gramineae pollen (grasses, the same family as wheat and other gluten carbs). Started having bad IBS, doctor told me to go gluten free for six months. Felt much better (but not still perfectly ok), reduced inflammatory symptoms and less face bloating. I was more active and sharp during the day.

Then i began to slowly reintroduce gluten in my diet, and if i eat too much i feel sleepy and all day long.

Go gluten free, give it a shot.

>constant nasal /sinus inflammation
All my life. I noticed it cuts the shit when i get the flu. Turns out that perma-hayfever people get is just a very strong immune system and an indicator of neanderthal genes.

If i don't wake up sniffing in the middle of the night, i will in the morning. As a teen i tried six months without dairy, nothing, moved away from cats, nothing.

All i've found that helps is not overheating during sleep. In winter i sleep in a jacket and no blanket. Comfy as fuck and get to sleep more than four hours without waking up.

Is circumin actually worth buying? I have this constant sniffing and feel of something inside my nose dripping to the throat. Tried allergy medicine and didn't work. Cleaning constantly with a net pot helps a little.
I'm honestly considering circumin but there are so many formulations that I have no clue which to buy.

eating carbs doesn't raise inflammation for fucks sake
excess calories do

Op consider taking 1 gram of glutathione a day. It is a bronchodilator. If you don’t want to take it as a sup, find foods high in it.

Carbs break down into sugar that can feed bad bacteria in your gut if you have dysbiosis, leading to inflammation. This is why SIBO, candida overgrowth, IBS, can be affected by carbs.

>Zyrtec
will this fuck my gut microbiota?

she's cute. And reminds you that you will never have a girl to look at you like that.

Are you only talking about refined sugar?

Cut out dairy and sugar first. Turmeric and black pepper is great. Eat more greens and fish.

my answer wont be popular, but i used to have this problem till i went plant based. but i know other people have sorted themsleves out by just not eating dairy.

okay but how does it compare to losing weight and a healthy diet without processed food

I'm not sure what you mean. Losing weight and eating well improves your health, but it isn't necessarily related to GI/Sinus issues. You can have gut bacteria problems and be perfectly healthy. There many ways in which dysbiosis can occur independent of your weight and eating well. That's not to say that gut dysbiosis issues are what most anons here are talking about, but it's one way that the foods you eat can cause systemic inflammation.

Jesus, I've had constantly stuffed nose for a few years now, with low-tier treatment (cetirizine, beclometasone) doing jack shit. I guess time to visit some doctors again and try this curcumine and l-theanine stuff. Not really ready to cut carbs, meat, and dairy from my diet. Already taking omega 3, it almost cleared up my eczema (I think), but not doing anything for the nose.
