Farms here are grass fed, the ranchers send then to the slaughterhouse then sell them to the butcher(if the ranch is big enough its all done by one ranch) Its great cuz the meat here is fresh, they ship to other parts of the country but once its been sitting in store for a week then bought and cooked it doesn't taste as well as where i get mine in town.

"Real B12" doesn't come from animals it is a byproduct produced by certain bacteria. Modern agricultural techniques (aka cleanliness and antibiotic use) mean that we can't obtain it from traditional sources anymore (dirty vegetables the bacteria lived upon or the animals that eat them).

As a result the majority of B12 supplements that are produced are actually administered to farm animals.
