Wagecuck 3000

Hi. Come in here and talk about your current wagecucking position

How are you holding out?

I quit after failing to kill myself in my office's toilets. I've got enough money to live confortably for around 6 months, I'll come up with something by then. Or just end it for all I care.

Just started a new job, at a little high-end ice cream place in the nearest town. Actually not that bad, pretty relaxed and coworkers seem pretty nice and non-NPC. Pay is good, means I'll get a car too.

Honestly, not even feeling too bad about it all right now.

I hope you feel better and everything works out
Nice.

on the verge of quitting the bosses wife is a massive cunt and the boss is a fucking coward

>got fired after missing 1 day of work
i was a NEET for years until a few months ago looks like im back.

The joy of being in a relationship. Why do so many robots want this?

Working on it but thanks man that's actually nice.

>How are you holding out?
I'm not, I'm killing myself soon. NEET life isn't available to me so it's either wageslavery or suicide

Greentrxt that story user

stock clerk here.
>How are you holding out?
i'm not trying to be an edgelord faggot here, but christ. i swear i would kill some people there if one day i discover i have a terminal disease.
my boss is a dipshit, his wife works in there and she's an extreme snitch, the co-workers are an anoying version of the npc meme
i'm currently raising enough money so i can quit that shit, my 8h shift starts in 37 minutes

was working at a bagel place doing shifts starting at 6 am 3-5 days a week for a while there, recently quit though to become a NEET again

Any stories to share? I see potential here

going to start working at a parks department soon it should be pretty comfy boss said theres lots of downtime for me to just sit around and watch the baseball games or whatever so im looking forward to it

>be office faggot
>Office has nine floors
>Get in a busy lift at the last minute
>Press floor number one
>Hehe sorry guys I means to press two
>Press two
>Get out at floor one anyway
>Can see the seeth on the faces of the ninth floor Faggots

Hehehe fucking fags

starting a new wagecuck job in two weeks

really enjoying my brief NEET time though

Bumping because these are actually good threads

Tell us more about your job

i do, sorry for taking long to reply, had to get ready to wageslave my day away.
anyway, i told this story a few times on wageslave threads so you may have seen it.
once my boss stole a lube that looks like a dick, (pic related)
he told my co-worker to do something at his car and he found the lube half-empty on the back seat.
i don't know if he's secretly a faggot, but he's very homophobic. so..
another one is that once i got extremely pissed off at my boss because he told me to do overtime, after i left i yelled at some random co-worker
>YOU KNOW SOMETIMES YOU KINDA UNDERSTAND THOSE PEOPLE WHO GO POSTAL ON THEIR JOBS
kek, at first she thought i was joking since she smiled after i said that, but once she saw my expression, she quickly looked away. surprisingly i wasn't fired and the next day she asked me if i was more calm.

Yes I do remember you user

Figuring out how to become a Merchant Marine/ship crew member, think I might do some stuff for a few years to save up money to become a marine engineer, hopefull I dont turn out to be too much of a brainlet for that kind of thing. Navy didnt work out but I still want to be innaship.

Them jobs always sound comfy good luck

About to quit my job and go to community college. The problem is I've always been a lazy semi NEET so I don't know which career to choose. It may be nursing or HVAC since I can quit and still be in demand

>suck cock
>Get cash
>Chill as a neet

Easy

Cool I always joke I have the merchant navy as my back up plan but I'm almost 30 and increasingly lazy.

I had a few good years rigging on tallships but didn't get any tickets or qualifications. My eyesights too bad for the Armed Forces or I'd love to have been in the Navy.

How come it didn't work out for you? Too many kids? A guy I used to sail with went in a 29 and ended up the training unti Grampa.

i'm a cashier at a small convenience store. it's pretty good so far user. i only work 3 times a week.

175k in cash and bitcoin. Still wagecucking but want to kms so will leave this year.

Currently work at a record store.
It's not bad work; I get paid a decent amount for what I'm actually doing (just kinda standing around cleaning shit and talking with people), but internally I've felt really angry and depressed in general as each day goes by. This in turn makes me a grouch and I try my hardest not to take it out on any customers or coworkers but some days it just comes out and I feel bad. I'm considering switching jobs because 1) I can do way better than glorified retail and 2) my attitude is wearing off on others and I don't think it's fair to do that to people who have been nothing but nice to me since I got there 2 years ago.

I need a fucking change but I doubt that would solve my shitty attitude. That's internal change. And I have no fucking idea how to fix that.

Do you have a house paid off?

I got sick as fuck near the end of bootcamp on top of hallucinating and shit, they decided to axe my ass but if I wanted I could reenlist. Dont think I will attempt that again but I would still very much like to be on a ship going around visiting ports and being at sea, just have no idea where to start. At the moment though I am just working on getting my drivers license, probably going to look for a job as a driver or something to get some capital and get my own vehicle. I am 20 so I cant really speak for the kid part, but I would say I had a more serious and reserved tone than most. Running would be more of a detriment to you than eyesight though, colorblindness just prevented me from rates like a gunners mate or being a fighter pilot, but I still had a few good rates available like electricians mate and Corpsman. I trained with a 35+ year old French teacher so believe me when I say age isnt as big a detriment as you would think. Certainly met all kinds in boot, some of which I wondered just how desperate their recruiter was.

Nah I'm in the UK and they're mega picky because of military downsizing. I was doing 3 22 mile runs a week and was in the top band for sprint speeds when I got to medical where they blanket banned me. The average joining age for the Royal Navy is 16 and that 80% of my mates joining class. Assumably you're in the US. My eyesights fine by US mil standards. I fucking wish I could have even a shit job in the US mil but whatever I'm almost over it now.

I've always lived near trains or on ships so I've only gone for my driving license this year too. Stupidly doing Motorcycle and Car together so it's fucking raped my bank and the stress of 6 seperate tests in one year has been a melt but it feels great to have passed and able to go whereever i want.

Anyway. This is the last ship I lived on. Not seaworthy now so was an easy gig but if you live near a coast or are willing to travel. Tallships (obviously this ones not a square rigger but still fun) are an amazing adventure when you're young and will give you some unparralleled sailing experience. Worth looking into.

There's a few big square riggers on the Great Lakes I'd LOVE to work on. I get sea sick easily.

wp fag

These are both good choices. HVAC if you want to work with systems tech and gain the potential to start your own business one day; nursing if you want to work with med staff and sick people and have hard upper limits to what you can earn and do but no limitation on where you can go and always find a job. Maybe lowkey score access to some good drugs too idk, sure there are security protocols in place but surely there exist ways around them too if you're careful and not too greedy. A 50mcg fentanyl patch here, a vial of ketamine there, and so on.

Been lurking this thread all day but my phone wouldn't let me post. I'm getting so fed up. My job itself is alright, I'm an admin drone in a massive financial services company. I quite like the general 'Office Space' atmosphere but what's really making me depressed is being on living wage (England). It wouldn't be so bad if I lived up north but by the time I've paid for my train ticket, rent, bills and lunch/snacks I have like 400 leftover a month. It's fucking crushing. I feel like I'm just floating rather than actually going anywhere in life. I have a holiday booked in June to a 6 star resort in Mexico that should be incredible (I'm only paying for flights) but in the back of my head I know it's just a brief distraction from the shitty life I have here.

Do accounting, you will learn numbers fast.

>new chair delivered for office
>boss: can someone assemble this?
>ok I'll do it
>start assembling
>2 coworkers come over, take away the instructions and take over the assembly unsolicited
>reject every single one of my attempts to help them
>5 minutes later
>"wow user you really could've helped, instead of standing around like a dumbass"

I started doing accounting in the evenings once a week at college around my 9-5 drone tier job. It's not that difficult and the bits that are just require practise rather than being super smart or having a particular type of brain. I spent months deliberating what to choose and after extensive analysis concluded Accounting is the career that pays the highest salary in relation to how difficult the job is (also factoring in the number of jobs and ease of breaking into the industry)

working at a McJob
it's pretty ok actually
Customers are a pain in the ass but there are some nice ones occasionally
Co-Workers and Managers range from tolerable to decent people who seem to like me
There are even some qts who flirt with me during shifts
Overall, it could be a lot worse

How did you manage to land a job at a record store user? I wanna work at a record store but idk what kind of experience and stuff you'd need to land that job

Have any anons here ever worked at a movie theatre? What was it like and what did you need to get that job?

How much do you make user? That sounds really comfy. I'd like to work a cozy job at a cozy small town but I'm in Chicago

shieldbro?

I work in a kitchen and I'm surrounded by retards. Everyday I clean up the mess they either made in the morning or the night before to give you an example of how bad it is I had a coworker come to me to complain about one of the microwaves not working (it wasn't fucking switched on at the plug). This same coworker has a tendency to look at a problem establish that it is a problem loudly declare to me that it is a problem then stare at me like a small dog begging to be let out for a shite hoping that I will fix this problem. Unfortunately he is not a small dog so when he looks at me expectantly it pisses me off to no end. He also has this annoying habit of laughing way too hard at his own shitty fucking jokes which basically boil down to some variation of "another day another dollar"

Anyway that is just an example of one of the retards that I have to work with. Whatever anger I used to have is being replaced with a dull apathy so I guess that it how I am coping.
