A lot of 80's music, it seems. One trend I notice with young whites (late-teens/early-20's): rejecting music from the Boomers and later, and going back to 30's and 40's pop music. This was a #1 hit 75 years ago:

Classical Music on 89.1 WSMR is the only radio I listen too. Thank god they split the classical from the NPR station and I get lovely music all day and night without having to listen to the crazy liberals talk.

I listen to metal, like between the Buried and Me, Dream Theater, Suicide Silence, Unearth, Born of Osiris, The Number 12 Looks Like You. Or alternative music like The Strokes, Moros Eros, Weezer, Modest Mouse. Or classical music if I’m trying to put my kids to bed. That’s all they really listen to because I’m skeptical of what it does to young kids to listen to anything else.

There was a 1950's music revival trend in the 1980's. Bands like the Stray Cats, Matchbox, etc. "Going back to the 50's" was a theme in various 80's films. I'm kind of nostalgic for the view of the 1950's expressed in 80's music and media.

Mainly trance. Nigs and normans can't into it and it isn't edgy like metal or pretentious like vaporwave.
