They're the modern day angels and demons of the atheistic/new age fantasy. Humans can't help but build a mythology, its in our nature. I have no problem with science, but crazies will mythologize their heros and turn them into pseudo-prophets. I have no problem with evolution, but they'll turn it into a creation story and base a philosophical worldview, or a theological worldview one might say, informed by it and other relativistic philosophies. I'm all for questioning everything, but to pretend that thats not what's happening by some otherwise smart people is retarded. Same with global warming commies, and commies themselves. We live off of stories and worldviews, inner narratives. Its real in the sense people believe it, just like blacks being afraid of the cops believe and 'feel' it. Nothing holds up though in the end. You just have to identify whats nihilistic and counterproductive and whats productive and wholesome and defend the latter.
