6 months lifting, SS dyel, but I feel like I'm on the right track. I like running too, so I guess it might hamper my gains. But I rest and eat well. I look better than what I did in February.

About 6 months of lifting with a month break in july. Did a caliper bodyfat% test and it says 12%.
Arms are about 17 inch.
Now the thing is everyone says I'm big but when I look at myself I just feel like I look small musculary. Could it be that I'm big due to bone structure? What gives reee

Yes I have mild scoliosis. Nothing I can do about it. Hasn’t stopped me from getting a 500+ deadlift but it might keep me from getting to 600

Too high bf at the moment, but low enough that I'm able to work on my silhouette.

Trying to get bulk up(hypertrophy) upper back, chest, glutes, and thighs so that waist "appears" smaller no matter what angle I'm looked at.

Strength training abs, lower back, and obliques so I can hold everything in and support myself during lifts.

I do 90% of exercises standing.

Are you sure that's loose skin on your stomach? Lot of dudes have subcutaneous lower belly fat till they get to low bf%

you need to lose even more weight, some good things:
your arms/shoulder have good vascularity even at this bf%, when you lose weight theyll look gr8. also youre tall so you have that going for you

No I think it's fat actually, I am definitely still high body fat. Actually I got a dexa scan it said I'm 40% body fat. That was when I was 195. So yeah.

Thanks user, yeah I guess they do have good vasculariry huh. All I really wanna do is look bad ass in a tank top, I could be happy with that. I don't know if I'll ever have decent abs though.

we're all gonna make it. if you wanna look good in a tank you have to have low bf, something a lot of guys neglect is how much fat they have around armpit/pec area. from the side if that area isnt toned it looks gross af, ideally the pec's line should be clearly visible + ribs on the side. abs are just a matter of bf, everyone has them its just a question of bringing them out. this might be beside the point but are you american? americans tend to have (from my euro perspective) way different ideas of what "fat" and "skinny" are. imho you could lose another 10-15kg, which is around 20-30 lbs

Been lean bulking, strength training, and HIIT/endurance training since feb.

Very much looking forward to full cut+hypertrophy training starting here in September as soon as it cools down a bit (so i can start bike riding).

I've basically been building my muscles and stamina with idea that im building a massive biological engine whose sole purpose is to burn calories. Cutting is when I get to actually put it all to use.

20-30 pounds sounds about right man, but damn I want to try a bulk, I've had some good strength gains but I just want to see what it's like to bulk and go into the gym knowing each day my numbers should be going up.

Like 70% of my diet right now is chicken. Like .7 to 1kg of chicken a day. Which is actually awesome cause I love chicken and I cook that stuff in a crock pot with all kinds of flavors. I just want to be able to eat more of it.

It's also just weird, 160 or 170 at 6'2" is like really skinny sounding to me. And no muscle? Yes I'm American. I've never been that weight for as long as I can remember.

If it makes you feel better I started as a skeleton too. This is 15 pounds into my first bulk I think. Started around 127 pounds. It’s a little bit over 3 years lifting, didn’t start taking it seriously with consistent lifting until this year.
