The Ethno Nationalist Alliance of South Africa and Rhodesia, supported by the US and Ireland build up troops south of Angola, while the Angolans managed to get support from the Soviets and Chinese. The south africans develop a chemical desolation component, but have no way of delivering that weapon yet. US further develop their Telsa weaponry, turning it into portable weapons enabling them to build Tesla Troopers. Since US rolled a trip (), they also get two divisions of Tesla Troopers right away. (also note that "Israel" is just Judea). Rhodesia pretty much master their guriella tactics, their rangers now gain defense boni whenever they're attacked in their own territory. Chile joins the South American Alliance, Brazil guarantees the independence of Bolivia.

A village in china freezes solid in a "cryogenic related accident". An assassination attempt against a pro-turkish syrian-kurdish politician by radical islamists is prevented by the turkish military. Mexican military forces regroup and retake some regions from the US invaders.
Rhodesian spies sucessfully infiltrate some branches of the South African military, eventhough large chunks are still controlled by loyal veteran generals. The South African government is not aware of these infiltrations. Turkey develops high yield explosive missiles capable of precision steering when re-entering the lower atmosphere. Basically you can pinpoint strikes against specific buildings. Southern Syria is still occupied by radical terrorist cells, turkey doesn't make any progress there.
Soviet scientists build a nuclear test reactor, similar to the american versions, though they say these reactors are not 100% safe yet. You can build nuclear reactors (improve productivity when producing units or using power intesive technology) now. International Newspapers get photos of Soviet Jets performing drills, everyone is impressed by the might of the Soviet Airforce, which is right now the most advanced airforce.

New elections will be held in half a year, but since the president deported most of his political enemies, so far it looks like he's about to be re-elected. A group of extremists in Istanbul carried out an attack against scientific institutions. Turkey bombards the cities of Sakaka and Medina with mediocre success. The arabs were able to evacuate their facilities in time.
Soviet scientists are able to reverse engineer some FAL 46s and produce their variant: The AK48. These Rifles are a bit more expensive, though they are better at piercing light armor. Soviet airstrikes successfully take out a huge chunk of the South African Government. The Coup succeeds! Rhodesia now has control over South Africa!

The government of England/UK is no more, only pro english and anti-english people fighting in the streets. Cryo research is proceeding slowly, but propaganda efforts are moderately effective.
The people of South Africa welcome the new Union! Most of them that is, some are a bit unhappy, but no uprisings or anything along those lines.
Soviet infiltrators were able to secretly raid a convoy in turkey, they gained access to nuclear theory papers... the last missing pieces. A few weeks later a huge detonation was detected in Kazachstan. The international community wonders what happened there, but the Soviet Union knows: The first low-yield nuclear weapon test was successful! It's a smaller than real-life trinity, but it's a successful controlled fission bomb explosion.
China was successful at minaturizing a cryogenic generator. Cryo Troopers can now be trained. These troops produce and use liquid nitrogen. They're highly effective against infantry in close quaters and can weaken armored targets if they can get close enough.

Soviet military specialists optimize their tactics. Especially against targets in jungle or forest environments, Soviet troops and airforce will have an advantage from now on.
The Chinese have successfully frozen and unfrozen a bunch of sheep. About 60% of those specimen are alive after restoration, most of them in healthy condition. 20% of those survivors have suffered injuries in their extremities (legs). North Korea declares it's depature from the Empire of the Rising Sun. The Emperor is upset but does not want to retake NK with violence. NK is now under chinese control

Alright. Declare war on Turkey then. Do not invade Romania yet but should they choose to join them, we shall be ready.

Have Red Army troops, equipped with radiation suits, advance inwards, taking advantage of the fact that turkish forces in this area must have evacuated/severely weakened due to radiation. Use the soviet navy to invade parts of northern turkey and establish beachheads there. Of course, since we have the most best air force in the world, use it to ensure air superiority over turkey.

The government of Niger seems very jelous of the technological advancements the Chads have made in the past years, but it seems that the general population holds a very high opinion of Chad.
America gladly cooperates with Rhodesia, as they have worked together in the past. They work together to successfully build improved Nuclear reactors in Rhodesia and pass their knowledge so you can maintain them and even expand on this tech.
Romania is literally in an anti-USSR-alliance together with bulgaria, Iran, Turkey and greece. The red army breaks through turkish border defenses and takes a decent chunk of eastern turkey. Supporting troops from Iran and Romania fight at the borders. The soviets test a nuclear warhead strapped to a missile, unfortunately that missile explodes mid air (rolled 2) and spreads radiation in the north of russia (sibiria and whatevers west of siberia)

It is now Summer 1949. US Troops have almost fully conquered Mexico. The Japanese launch another satellite, that almost gets a full orbit done, but then burns up in the atmosphere.
Nuke missile research makes progress, a warhead was successfully delivered out the atmosphere and back, but with a heavy nuke warhead those missiles are extremely inaccurate and have low range as of right now. The naval invasion of turkey fails (nat 1, I'm so sorry dude, your rolls are consistently low). An airforce division and a infantry division are oblitterated in the process.
Your propaganda efforts result in something similar to a lobbying group in the japanese high command which advocates for cooperation with the chinese. Due to the recent failures in the rocket program, the japanese apologize and send back propper plans of rocket technology.
