this is very intriguing what is the actual size? I'm guessing quite small since the LED light background. Struggling to see the pictures but I like the color scheme and the film print like pattern on the side.

It's what art should be beautiful and make you question what it is.

I haven't played Splatoon but I do like writing, so I gave this a looksie. The opening of the story struck me as kind of aimless. As a reader who isn't in love with the Splatoon characters, you have to hook me in with either great characterization off the bat, a promise of coming conflict I can be invested in, or conflict right then and there. The closest thing to that here was:
>There was a lot of walking to be done in the square for your average squid. Clothing shops to visit, shoes to try on, weapons to test out...not to mention that the Turf Wars paid for all that shopping.
which, by the way, probably should have been the first sentence if you want to get the reader's attention. Walking squids with weapons and turf wars is much more captivating than a description of an urban summer day with seemingly no other point to it than setting a scene. Generally speaking.
Other than that, I've seen a lot worse and your prose and dialogue seems pretty good. Keep writing man, it's tough to do consistently.

That's the dream. Pretty good proportions, but try to do less and longer strokes instead of a lot of short chicken-scratchy ones. You learn to sketch faster with a fewer lines that way
