I dont know what youd consider a source but if you look up "american currency growing" you'll get plenty of stuff, last year around this time seems to have been a big bump. I believe in march it became a bit more powerful too, as the value of the USD grew again. If you look at the value of the Euro to the USD you'll see its slowly becoming worth more as the USD catches up. Same can be said for most other currencies.
