what instrument do you make?

I don't want to get into too much detail as only 2 or 3 Etsy sellers make this particular instrument and really don't want to be associated with Jow Forums but it's a particular type of European Harp. I also make other things like violins and guitars, but this harp was my first Etsy sale.

I totally understand not wanting to be associated with this place.

Once you know what you're doing, it's very relaxing and zen. I'll spend hours with a $200 thumb plane hollowing a violin top and just get lost in the focus of the job.

Knowing several chairs of the New York, LA, and Detroit Philharmonic orchestras own some of my violins is also gratifying and humbling.

It's basically a hybrid of documentary, animation, and a couple scripted scenes. Overall I'm not too ashamed by the results so I'm glad I made it.

For those interested,and who would appreciate the tale,this was the assignment I had to do for the artist position at that game company.

They wanted people to design 3 things:
A barbarian dressed in ragtag equipment.
A cyber-manticore.
And a ruined castle in a jungle.

Then draw a choreographed fight between them in that setting,20 panels or so of it. A daunting task,and made impossible by my 48 hours of night crew shelf stocking. I got as far as making the manticore (pic related) and the barbarian. I tried to make both low polygonal because it was in the early 2000s when I tried to get this job.

I made the barbarian female to distinguish her from the other submissions,and I made her equipment singular to show my ability to design Phat Loot for a roleplaying game. The plan was to demonstrate the abilities of each item she had in the course of their battle. The dragon boot would blast fire like a jet for assisted leaping,her headdress would breath fire,and such stuff. But only someone who had far more time to try it all could give this task a go. I threw in the towel after 2 weeks.
