This is almost my exact same story, minus the ex being a bitch; we just don't talk now so I have no idea what she's like anymore.
She had one over 5 years ago, and this very morning I woke up from what I personally consider a nightmare, although others might see it as a positive dream. It was of an alternate timeline, where the ex's mother was playing with a small child outside, about how old the kid would have been had the ex not had the abortion (her original plan was to just raise him/her on her own w/ her mother and not ask me for help). It was a somewhat alright dream in the moment but then I woke up and thoughts realigned with reality and I feel pretty horribly depressed now.
