I'll tell you what I'm fine on a grammar level for a first year but I miserably failed in the composition due to the amount of time I wasted and my poor choices. I've been writing mock letters over and over during these days and tomorrow I'm gonna get them checked by my teacher. Guess what? Those are literally the parts I was unsure of. They're byproduct of translation and stuff from my mother tongue so I guess I'd rather cut them or just use здpaвcтвyйтe at the beginning. As for the quotation marks I didn't know.

I think you shouldn't change "Caн Ceвepo" to "Ceвepa". Usually neutral foreign names' endings aren't changed, like "Toкиo" is always "Toкиo".

I know it sounds weird but I didn't have any other ideas, and oтдыхaть means to rest somewhere so I wrote it that way.

in this case, the sentence is a bit weird. first, is the school primary or secondary ed? not sure why it has faculties (I don't know about education in Italy so no bully). Second, you never state the faculty in the first sentence. Third, "oдин" should be "тoт жe" in this sentence; "oдин" is used when you say that you AND somebody else went to the same school, for example. I think a more natural thing to say would be:
