Because women now a days have nothing of value to offer men. At least the vast majority of women. That being said, why should I risk my financial security on a woman who studies show, according to past sexual partners, the higher the number, the more likely the partner is to cheat. I'm far too old to find any virgins my age, and I find it creepy to be dating like 10-15 years below my age, so instead I chose to focus on my business. Obviously this doesn't mean every single woman is a whore, and every single marriage will end up with you in poverty and heart-broken, but the odds aren't exactly in your favor, and I prefer to play the odds. I imagine it has to do a lot with my upbringing, but I see women that young as easily manipulated to the point that I would feel guilty constantly just knowing how easy she'd be to predict and manipulate.
