I was wondering, what is your favorite type of of tree/wood.

For me, it's birch.
I always remember my grandad having a few logs next to his woodstove to use before the crap wood.
A real pretty wood

Cedar. Beautiful heart, pleasant aroma, good for bbq as well. Great for fences as well, and amazing fire wood. Haven't experienced oak yet...but even if I do I'll be partial towards god ole cedar

In Finland we have so much birch that we use that as the cheap wood in a lot of places. I like pine trees a lot, but rowan is my favourite of all.

Shush.

Thats a great choice, that's the same same reason I like cherry.
Great for smoking!

Uhh, i have no idea about wood, but there's a pretty cool tree close by here that i like.
It's a big tree with leaves that are really dark, looks almost black though you can see a hint of green.
I also like cherry blossoms but who doesn't?

Looks very pleasant there.

Here's a tree outside my apartment I took photos of for a year

The arbutus, with its smooth, cool bark. It feels almost human.

I love the pine a lot.
I've had 3 by my house most of my life!

Wonderois!

That's awesome!

That's pretty terrifying Canada kun. I love it!

I might take a pic of it and show you if you wanna see it.
It also sorta overhangs over the sidewalk so you get to go under it when you're walking, that's pretty neat too.

Probably willow trees
They provide nice shade during hot days and they're pretty easy to climb and find a nice spot to relax

I would love to see it!

That's a damn fine choice!

Probably oak

shelby is my gf

Great!
I'll take it the next time i see it and I'll show it when i see you next!

Walnut, or for a more exotic wood maybe African Rosewood

I would have to say... Sequoia.

There is something about this I really like, but I don't know what it is

Birch is nice and easy to look at.
It has an interesting variant called masur birch, or curly birch.

A wonderful choice!

Th-thank you

I look forward to it

I love it!

Read that, the worlds largest trees

Ash trees are nice as well

Sequoia also has a pretty neat name but rosewood is both exotic as a name and in aesthetic.

Birch is pretty great but it just seems kinda bland to me, which is why for a light wood I'd go with alder. I still like walnut though
