Sorry, but I know very little about this stuff :/

All I know is what my instructor at the gym tells me to do and anecdotal things, also common knowledge stuff like stay hydrated.

But from what I experienced (as someone who started and stopped exercising a few times for various reasons) the first month was always the worst, then it got better and soon was enjoying going to the gym more than I dreaded going at the start.
