Also weird that you never see a complete orbit around the earth on their livestream. no, its based upon the fact that the different in distance is around 1/7th yet the difference in size is about 100% if not more and even the opposite way. if it were based on the distance, then the one further away would appear smaller as greater distance makes you able to see more of the earth resulting in the US (for example) taking up a smaller area of the whole. yet in this case the one from further away shows the US to be bigger.
